The way you wrap up the lesson by concluding with a few sentences containing all the idioms is just brilliant, and it is your signature conclusion. Love it because it is both creative and original, and useful at the same time.

Thank you Wes for bringing me up to speed after being away from learning for some months. I wanted to make an example using some of the idioms you taught. I didn't think twice about writing a comment, because to set the record straight, it helps practice what I learned. So I decided to write comments on short notice. Some people usually don't take things at face value and get a grip on themselves before accepting something. I believe that we should strike a balance between our emotions and our logic.

I like that you also teach pronunciation tips! I read books in English, watch movies, but speaking is my weak point. I dont have much practice. By the way, I teach Russian at my channel in case somebody's interested. I'm from Donbass. We, Russian speaking people from the East Ukraine, Russia, and Belorussia have the same vocabulary and slang. But you Americans, Britains, and Australians have different vocabulary and accents and it's difficult for English learners!

Advanced written - or spoken - vocabulary should not be about _repeating_ someone else's words. It would be much more impressive if the constructions were _original_ - with carefully selected words of your own choice. This would give your communications persuasive personality and engaging appeal ...

Sir, frankly, I used to incorporate a bit of those idioms into creative writing or any other real life circumstances. Also even in academic and other professional writing tasks during my secondary level school career in saudi arabia. But later on, I realized that putting them into use is a fruitless sin, particularly in academic situations. Still nowadays , I see many students using a bunch of them in formal writing assignments at universities all over our country. This sounds pretty ambiguous to me and the reason for these students ending up getting unsatisfactory grades in exams is, of course, evident. Whatever it appears to be, I'm profoundly obliged with your enthralling lesson and I bet it'll be much beneficial for me in enriching my spoken English skills and helping me in my journey to get into grips with higher level English, such as ielts and tofels.
