Hi, everyone. I've been watching these videos lately and I'm happy for that because I'm learning more. Thanks a million. The C2 phrase (at the end of your rope) doesn't have any possessive pronouns but possessive adjectives. I'm just trying to help.
An absolutly great lesson! I've already learned some of them in our Speak-Up lesson, so it was also a good review. As you know, linking is one of the most challenging parts of English learning for me, but I'll keep practicing, because I really believe my comprehenshion skill will improve this way.
You are perfect as always! Thank you so much for the great lesson, and special thanks for the Books Ngram Viewer! ❤ Love the way you give us advanced language 🤓
Hello again, Mr. Wes. I like your videos and your style of teaching, without any doubt. However, any knowledge requires to be refreshed from time to time; this is why I am here again. "Repetitio est mater studiorum", as wise Romans said. Have a nice weekend, all of you under your roof.
Thank you, so much for all the material that you give to us the english learners; muchas grasias por todo el apoyo que no da , en especial a los que hablamos español.
😢sir i can really express myself very well with basic English whenever i use what i learn from you no one around me gets me right even though our major is English language teaching in Turkiye.that puts me down cuz i just can't find real people who speak advanced English.I have fears that all I learn is forgetful cuz there is almost no use to what i try hard to memorize
That's exactly what my fear is too. Even though english is taught in schools here (where I live) its not good enough. I haven't found any speakers who speak good advance english so deep down I get anxious that I'll lose whatever I've learnt so far. 😢
Thank you, Mr. Wes. It's quite advanced selection and excellent comments of every single idiom. Don't be deeply surprised, but accept my special appreciation for your properly shaved face. Recently a male face without an ugly beard is quite rare on RU-vid.
Now I know I'm going to pass with flying colors my certification, your channel is my favorite on RU-vid and you are teaching better and better every time, greetings from México😀
It was extreme. It's gonna be in my long time memory. I don't bit about the Bush. Hence, with a definite confidence I am gonna add these in my Daily routine. Thank you wes!
This is very helpful. I like how you integrated all these idioms in a conversation. I was wondering if you happen to have the conversation available for us to use as a resource. Thank you.
@@InteractiveEng I watch your video lessons and I do enjoy Wes, there were some here I did not know but overall I loved all of them.❤️ I subscribed your channel a while ago but you reminding us really put a smile on my face.😊
Thank you so much I was looking for someone to explain how to use some phrasal verbs easily. I would recommed to sing some songs that have this linking words, that's how in my case, mmy brain repeat the melody language. Thanks a lot!!
When I was the student of English Literature in my first year, I had to face lot problems in English. However, every thing got settled gradually when I start taking your class.❤❤❤
Thanks a lot ! He graduated from the secondary school with flying colors. But he had a sudden change of heart and decided to break off his training and instruction. 🙂
I really enjoyed watching and listening to your attractive presentation! I know all of them, but the most difficult thing is how to use them in the right context while speaking. Teacher Wes thank you so much indeed!
Thank you for such a valuable lesson on idioms. I really like the way you CUT TO THE CHASE. Now that I've learned those I'm ON CLOUD NINE. In fact, there is no CUTTING CORNERS when it comes to learning a language. I first CUT MY TEETH on idioms when I was 18 and after a few years struggling to learn most of them, I was AT MY WITS' END. But we need to GIVE OURSELVES SOME SLACK for not knowing many of the idioms because there are just too many. Learning a language is a painstaking process. You can't just FLY BY THE SEAT OF YOUR PANTS because you can GET THE WRONG END OF THE STICK. Learning idioms are fun and we should always GIVE IT A WHIRL. If you can't seem to improve your English like me, just GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD and HIT THE BOOKS. Does it RING ANY BELLS? Please TAKE MY COMMENT WITH A PINCH OF SALT. Just being silly here. 😅
Thank you for this funny and high quality lesson! There is no easy way out learning any language and I won't ever be in the end of my rope watching your videos.
