This is the best tutorial on the subject I have ever seen! Despite the fact that the tutorial is 3 years old, I have learnt more in 2.5 hours than I have learnt through a multitude of online courses containing many hours of useless information. Great tutorial! It's nice to see many of the plugins I'm using myself all together in one tutorial. I originally purchased WP User Frontend Pro before I realised not all fields were supported. Then I found Advanced Forms Pro. Not only does it support ALL fields including Relationships, Repeaters, etc. but it also links up to your ACF Field Groups automatically. You can set up custom fields for the Title and Content and link them to become the actual custom post title and content but with custom names such as 'Actor Name' or 'Actor Bio'. You can also enable Editing from the front end and set up Notification emails as you would expect. hookturn.io/downloads/advanced-forms-pro/

@@WPTuts Just an off-topic question. I was trying to accomplish an events module using ACF+CPT UI but could not figure out how to sort the events based on event_date. I would like to sort the rapidly upcoming events to show first but the elementor allows to sort based on published_date. Any idea how can we do that? Thanks in advance.

How do you get your website to connect with CRM software like Alto?! - Because most agents work by adding property to a CRM, which automatically updates the property on their website, along with all the property portals like Zoopla and Rightmove, so you’re only entering data into one place. Alto said something about using their API, but weren’t able to describe it so well...

I just noticed you are using Anywhere Elementor Pro and you also have dynamic.ooo installed, I have the exact same set-up right now because I started out with AE and needed a specific functionality from Dynamic so I installed it after doing my blocs with AE but I now see that I could do all that with dynamic.ooo instead (by making sections using the Elementor Pro and inserting them in my templates). So my question is: why do you have both, is there something Anywhere Elementor does that you can't get in Dynamic.ooo? I'm still discovering so I might have missed something, but Dynamic.ooo seems to offer more possibilities and I like keeping all templates in one place (instead of having another template "place" for the AE blocs. BTW awesome videos, I really appreciate and have been following you, amazing work you do!

At least someone noticed it;) AE is totally superfluous with dynamic.ooo. I also don't know why a hidden field is required for the e-mail if you can send it directly dynamically. I would also recommend ACF Extended for custom post types if you are working with ACF Pro

Thank you for this detailed resource, Paul. I am currently designing the architecture of a web project using CPT UI and ACF Pro and will appreciate any help from you and other users here. I'm working on a "School/Courses/Scholars Finder" project that will have the following features: 1. Listing of schools based on types (uni, college, etc), ownership (private, public, etc), and a few other grouping fields. These schools are located in different regions (or states) in a country (region 1, region 2, etc). 2. Courses: each may be offered by more than 1 school 3. Scholarships: May be offered in/by many schools or no school at all. I have a challenge designing the relationships in a reasonable manner that will be easy to retrieve data from. Like, which should be custom post type/taxonomy. And how to link things. Any help with be appreciated. Thanks guys!

Hello Paul, I'm curious to know if the following can be accomplished through Elementor. When you look at featured posts for a directory site, this is something that is usually charged for. It would be great to know how to set something like that up. I believe this is usually something that is charge for over a period of time (days, weeks, months). What would be nice is knowing how to integrate this and have it as an option in the dashboard, in this case, of the Realtor so if he or she wanted to to make a particular listing they have into a featured listing, they could do so whether it was a new listing or one they are editing. The second thing would be giving the Realtors the ability to mark the status of their listing (new, pending, sold and so on). This could display in the listing somewhere (both in the post grid and the single post) so people can see its current status.

No problem at all. I don't believe so. As far as I am aware, JetSmartFilters will only work with JetEngine meta fields and not ACF. I will be doing a guide to using Search and Filter Pro which is a lot cheaper than the 2 plugins used in this video, but need to fully test it out to see how it stacks up against FacetWP and SearchWP. :)

Is there a way to connect the map with facetWP (or some other filtering system) so it will only show the properties on the map that meet the person's search criteria? This is something that you see on other sites displaying listings and having that feature added in would make doing searches a lot easier.

There is an additional plugin for elementor that allows you to build out a form using elementor form builder for custom posts that allows you to add as many fields you want but I cannot remember or find that plugin, this one on the video for property listing isn't it.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I'm setting up my site now with it step by step. I've run into a problem with AnyWhere Elementor Pro. My widgets don't show up when I got to setting up the agent template. I isolated it to pro by deactivating it. I know there are several versions, I tried the newest version 2.15.3 and the oldest version 2.14.1 and neither worked. Any advice? Thanks!

This is great, but how do you connect the site with a CRM software like Alto? Because most agents work by using CRM software for everything, which is also where they put property information into, which then automatically updates their website and any property portals they’re using, like Zoopla and Rightmove. Alto said something about using their API, but weren’t able to explain it so well, other than that they said they connect to Property Hive, or WP Property Feed, however, they’re an extra expense. It would be more cost effective to use their API. Any thoughts or ideas?!

Fantastic tutorial. I don't quite understand what Anywhere Elementor Pro is adding to the stack - it seems like I can pull this off only using the rest of the recommended plugins. Am I missing something? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they are all from Unsplash: Some can be found here: unsplash.com/s/photos/house It was a long time ago that I grabbed some of the others, so I'm not too sure where they came from to be honest.

Hello WPTuts and everybody, my website has a course post type and a class post type that each course can relate to multiple classes (via the relationship field in the course post type). do you think there is another way other than using the AnyWhere Elementor Pro plugin to display a list of classes related to each course in a single course template? For example, what about using a custom query id in the default elementor post or portfolio widget which can work with custom elementor skin? Has anyone ever thought or used this method? What do you think are the challenges of this method?

Thank you. I have an issue. I added a custom field of type (File). I am unable to get that file to show on the page... I just need to get its name and have it be downloadable. I tried many block types, but I am unable to get it to show. I am able to select other custom fields, such as text types. Any ideas?

Hi, first of all thanks for great video. One question only. If i have multiple user and i use relation for realestate agents in frontend form in give me all agents from all agencys not just the one that are child of user. So my question is, can i create relations based on user. So that agents show only from that user who is subbmiting form
