As the world record holder I think this is a well made tutorial. I disagree on some points however you did good and it can be learned from. I got 2:19 using your strats with some mistakes so sub 2 is even doable with these tips. You should have mentioned to spam space at the end as the credits do count towards your time. For me, this game is mostly muscle memory and whenever I switch strats based off position it is subconscious, but at this level I do agree that you should go with the flow and some more thought is required. I would recommend doing a no spin thumb negative pull to avoid getting stuck (which you can also do on the hat ledge). This was entertaining to watch and I hope you get sub 3 soon :)
@@CyanicG Can you please tell me how to jump to the anvil part?? It's very hard and I fail every time when I jump to the snow rock. I have no problem with the hat but I just cannot climb the snow rock on which the anvil is.
was kinda expecting this guide to be bad when I saw that someone younger made it, but this is really well made and super helpful. Thx for the guide. (easily earned a like)
Man, I litterly spend twenty minutes and got 4:40 after watching your video (my last pb's were 6:32 and 5:28). Tried to use those tactics on boulders and bucket this so much efficient! Thank you very much
Thanks you for this guide!!! Omg! Before my current best frecord is only 6.29 mitues and now I get 5.08 minutes!!! I can't believe that!!!!! I'm so thank you for making this video!!
The "its not muscle memory" is 100% cap, all game are is muscle memory, thats how you get good is improving your skills(aka muscle memory) the only quick thinking is selecting which combo of movements to execute USING MUSCLE MEMORY
@@טוםלרנר yeah but, i don't think if a low sensitivity in-game would work for most of the speed runners, i mean when you have to think fast you also have to react fast and you need the highest sensitivity (i think that is how it works lol)
All I'm trying to achieve is sub 10 mins, and I am on pace to do it but I always end up spending 5 mins on tower, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I know that I can do it fast, as I have done before, but I don't know why I'm losing so many runs at the very end. Great vid btw, very helpful.
Yeah i really wanna make a speed run video...but my current record is only 7 minutes😖well i don't fail a single one of those obstacles...i just don't know how to be fast...but ty for teaching me
This video made by basics strong and helped me in improving my time more and more and motivated me to keep playing, thanks for such a phenomenal tutorial!
bro I cant do the trick on 6:20 I have been trying for like an hour I cant get it you cant imagine how angry I am at this game I keep falling when getting so high and repeating all this stupid crap
its alright man just keep practicing i got stuck a lot too when i played. eventually you will lower that time and try to pay attention to what parts your slower at and practice those over and over.
Most of the techniques do work in mobile version too. It's just that you need to practice much more (than pc) for learning and mastering same technique.
uncle's meow ummm... this video isn’t a flex whatsoever. At that part of the climb there is no specific way to do it that’s why I said thinking quickly... if you look at the rest of the video I went into detail about certain parts. There is no specific positioning on that first part again that’s why I said thinking quickly..
This guide is excellent for people who want to start speedrunning. I really wish I actually found this before I took 6 months and finally got my first sub 2. My first sub 2 was a 1.45 surprisingly. I do highly reccomend using furniture skip and try master it as it is not hard and faster if done somewhat efficiently. And for space just find your own route that works. Try get the route to at most 16 seconds. Either way this tutorial was fantastic. : D
