Hello Mark. Thanks for taking the time to create solutions like this for those who are playing Microsoft Flight Simulator on the Xbox. I'm hoping it won't be very long before I'll have my own Xbox Series X setup, so I'm spending time on RU-vid searching for tutorials. Everything I've seen of yours is excellent and I've already started saving your playlists. I've been waiting patiently since the day I heard Microsoft was creating this sim for the Series S|X. I'm encouraged by what I've seen on RU-vid regarding the performance of the latest generation of Xbox consoles and and now that they are becoming more accessible, I'm just about ready to jump back into MSFS. My previous experience, like everyone else, was on PC but it's been a long while since I've been able to fly the sim. I started on MSFS 5 in the early 90s (DOS), FS 98 (built my own Win 98 PC for this one) and FS 2004 on a 19" Sony laptop (Vista). A lot of moving around the U.S. and some major life events have kept me away from the sim since 2011. I never really spent very much time back in those days with the airliners, yet I took time to learn a little bit about flight planning and IFR flight on some longer cross country trips in the prop planes. Anyway, I really appreciate the effort you obviously put into your videos. RU-vid is such a great learning resource and I'm very excited and happy to have people like you providing help to get me up and flying again. My best to you and thanks for your contribution to flight simulation enthusiasts like me.
Hi Mark, really appreciate the time in putting these videos together. So helpful and I for one is benefiting from these excellent streams. Thank you once more.
Don’t have a Xbox at this time, but for one in future. So thanks a lot for the video. Please do a video on FlightAware. Thank for all your videos, keep up the good work.
Hi Mark,. Great video and great timing. The new a310 will be encouraging MSFS owners to explore detailed flight planning. Xbox owners can also now import Simbrief plans directly into the MCDU on the a310.
Thank you, Mark. Excellent as always. I don’t think you’ve done gliders yet. I probably need to do a profile on hotas but, meantime, do you know if there is an assigned button for cable release? I’m using XBox X but have a small keyboard, too. It’s really fiddly finding the yellow knob with trackpad mouse after a cable break! Cheers…
Just sucks that the aircraft in msfs and simbrief have different weights and a lot of the time my block fuel wouldn't be enough to make it to my destination airport. Like for instance the 787-10 in msfs and simbrief have different max takeoff weights.
You are way ahead of myself, just got the XBox X and MSFS plus the big update.....but in trying to do a free flight MSFS is trying to teach to do a throttle up straight ahead takeoff.... tried setting Assistant to Hard but it now wants ATC done as well....??? XPlane allows a free flight easily...I will have a look back through your XBox X related How To's etc Laurie NZ
@@SimHangerFS Thanks Mark, my new Logitech MK 235 keyboard/mice on wifi worked after a few minutes on 1st start. (Thanks to your suggestion in a previous video). Alot easier to interact… fyi. Esc key was back/resume…I found the mouse let me use the top white icons/menu drop down. One of which alternates Assist on/off. ! Which worked really well. Got a good flight in with Hard/Realistic setting still in….next is to setup the Camera views on XBox X per a previous video of yours…making it easier to look around…Laurie. NZ.
Hello Mark, Thank you very much for your professional and usefully knowledge. I have xbox series X. And I was wondering if you can help me on how to I import (outside xobx) PLN files into my xbox. THANK YOU Arie .W
You know i do not remember being told when i bought Msfs 2020 and installed it on xbox x that i would not get all the features available to pc users. Not getting the Beaver has really made me mad. Xbox users cannot purchase a lot of aircraft available on pc. i think we are due a partial refund.
