As a former employee of LM, my opinion is a mixed bag. On the one hand, I was proud to work for our military and defense manufacturer. On the other hand, logistics really were slow. You couldn't get replacement parts when you needed them, because the expedition sorely lacked efficiency. It was like an act of Congress just to get a resistor, or diode! No matter how many times you requested your parts, they were always late... I mean like weeks late. Meanwhile, your original project gets put aside, you start another project. Now you've messed up the crimp on a wire.... (They only give you EXACTLY the amount of parts for your project) fill out a requisition and email that to the expeditor...and wait, and wait for perhaps another week or more. Yep, they blame you and fire you because your project was late. Really bad managerial skills! Something needs to change around there because they're shooting themselves in the foot.
