The improvements i made watching this is incredible, keep up the good work my man! Also if you can, i think many players would love to see your fight highlights weekly to learn from your moves!
btw there is huge wave of new players incoming to this game, you channel is gonna see some boost due to you being like best youtuber for this game... thank you [came from valorant due to my fav valorant youtuber showcase this game]
This is so much information to improve my game. I am doing good on this game as of now (I guess) I've been doing some of your tips already that I figured while facing another strong opponent. You helped me a lot to be a better player. Thank you so much.
good coverage. i hope you can also cover the game settings for better gameplays. For example, I notice AutoRun should be set to hold to avoid messing up your dodge.
Wow I'm a new player here now that Xbox has this game on gamepass and I'm inlove with it. I didn't know about half of this...Thank you I'm gonna work on alot of these tips.
Yes bro, im on console and with the new update the hots have been cracked out! Also players! everyone is getting good this video will put you over the edge as are these tips are not regurgitated throughout the community. thanks alot
Pro tip: There is a perfect way to execute instant parry while charging regardless prior to the first focus charge or second charge. If you assign your crouch and parry hotkey to your side mouse, you can actually use instant parry any time you want just by pressing both at the same time. You can use it while focus atk, jumping, grappling. It's the easiest way to execute parry anytime anywhere. I discovered it while familiarizing with my mouse hotkey setup =) Here is a short tutorial on the configuration ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-b0FCTel5Xfs.html
Can you make a video on trios combat/dodging guide? It's so annoying when in trios you get focused on usually two people and can't do nothing about it. xd Any tips?
From a fellow Naraka player to another, whats worked for me is to not engage in a 1v3 situation. Its okay to run and let someone else fight them while you shoot from afar in hopes of the situation becoming more favorable to you. But if its endgame then good luck.
Aside from greatsword, most players after a clank will do 2 things, either go for another light, or charge a focus in assumption that you will go for a light attack. I’ve had a lot of success just charging a focus after a clank and then either canceling into parry or letting it rip depending on what they do
Bro we need a video for each weapon and the combos with them. Also I feel like each character has a different variant of the same combo ? But not quite sure on it
I don’t get how to find time to cancel or crouch/jump when I’m stun locked most of the fight. Any time I attempt these things I get punished with an uppercut. Not to mention how hard it is to see the blue with all the motion going on. This video is good and I learned what to do but it seems almost impossible in game.
Is the timing for instant focus parry very strict? I can’t get it to work with greatsword. Also, can you make a video about using stoneform effectively? I am having trouble applying stoneform. I appreciate that the blocks from stoneform prevent damage, but I find most of the time I would rather be able to keep charging my focus attack and mixup my release timing/cancel than be forced into this weird neutral rock paper scissors scenario with predictable timings. I have trouble countering grapples with the GS because of stoneform, and I don’t fully understand the difference between stone form off focus attacks vs clanking light attacks. Does stone form even activate from clanked light attacks? I would love a video all about stone form mixups. I LOVE the Greatsword! The dash slide air horizontal is SO MUCH FUN! Edit: searching around and nobody else seems to have a video on stoneform or describes it well. You’d be the first if you made it!
@@HKBoba the issue was I didn’t know about the rules with charge length. Can’t wait to go home and try it! I also didn’t know you had to charge focus BEFORE a grapple hits you to get the focus off. Also, I mentioned it in my other post, but weapon clank situations confuse the fuck out of me. Especially with the greatsword. I get mixed up with stoneform vs weapon clank and what can be done from each. Liked and subscribed btw
@@tubesism any time it does the suction effect around your weapon its a stone form hit. if youre turned around stone form wont block also. i recommend getting off greatsword for a while its often a crutch for new players who want a blocking mechanic. It can still be very hard to fight against if you cancel your stone form focus attacks with jump or dodge or crouch.
Nice tutorial, but i just cant manage to parry good fighters, they hit me so fast all the time so i never get to parry? But maybe its just soo difficult that you need the perfect timing
Can anybody help me I just came back to the game after a month and now on console RB RT for parry doesn't work and literally all of the binds I have set are necessary to even be able to play the game
In the Iframe line, as well. also, "The best defense is a good offense" is an adage that has been applied to many fields of endeavor, including games and military combat. It is also known as the strategic offensive principle of war. Generally, the idea is that proactivity (a strong offensive action) instead of a passive attitude will preoccupy the opposition and ultimately hinder its ability to mount an opposing counterattack, leading to a strategic advantage. George Washington wrote in 1799: "…make them believe, that offensive operations, often times, is the surest, if not the only (in some cases) means of defence". Mao Zedong opined that "the only real defense is active defense", meaning defense for the purpose of counter-attacking and taking the offensive. Often success rests on destroying the enemy's ability to attack. This principle is paralleled in the writings of Machiavelli and Sun Tzu. Some martial arts emphasise attack over defense. Wing chun, for example, is a style of kung fu which uses the maxim: "The hand which strikes also blocks." The "German" styles of Historical European martial arts favor the offence (The Vor slac) to open the fight or defensive techniques that is also an offence (eg. Abzetsen). During World War I, Germany planned to attack France so as to quickly knock it out of the war, thereby reducing the Entente's numerical superiority and to free up German troops to head east and defeat Russia. In some board games, such as Risk, one's ability to build up armies depends on aggressively attacking so as to acquire territory; however, in Risk, luck in rolling the dice is the ultimate determining factor. Players who fail to do so, and concentrate instead on holding the line against enemy attack, will likely end up in a weak position. In-depth info argues that this adage does not always apply: "When the battle rages between two players one should put every ounce of power in the offense, but when several players are involved, the political element changes this dynamic." In chess, one's ability to prevent enemy attacks often depends on maintaining the initiative - i.e., making a series of threats that the opponent must use his turns to parry, rather than launching his own attacks; thus, common tips used in conjunction with this adage are that the best way to upset your opponent's plans is to become menacing and that the best way to stop an enemy threat to your own king is to attack his. In sports such as football and basketball, the adage is used to note that success can hinge on an effective offense that keeps the ball on the other team's side of the field, thus not only creating scoring opportunities but preventing the opposing team from scoring The adage has also been applied in the intellectual property realm, in reference to patent trolls. The adage has also been applied in court where the defense counsel attacks and breaks the prosecutor's case. It is the prosecution's burden to prove its case beyond reasonable doubt. There are strict rules of criminal procedure code which require the prosecution to first prove a prima facie case, before the defense could be called or even invited to set out material aspects of its position, and the prosecution's task to present its case at the trial. here's some interesting history, outofthiscentury.wordpress.com/2016/03/14/the-best-defense-is-a-good-offense-really/
Ok so I just got naraka on Xbox and I love it but am struggling with the Perry system maybe I’m just not understanding something can anyone help me out it’s like my Perry’s don’t exist
@@HKBoba I’m on every night been trying to focus on fundamentals I especially wasn’t using the instant counter...so I haven’t been doing much climbing but I’ve definitely been on!
None of these canceling tricks work. Cannot cancel anything. Is this no longer a thing? Is there an option or something I have to check in order to be able to cancel ? - Thanks
Wbat about when bots do 2 horizontal attacks, dodge forward and repeat this spam? I dodge to the left but they are immediately just hitting me again with the same attack. I'm trying to practice woth hard bots and they dominate me. Its impossible to land a focus strike cause they have god like parry timing. Also they never throw focus strikes, they always cancel and repeat there combo every time.
@@HKBobaI'm finding this game impossible. I've been playing every day for the last 2 weeks and I'm getting no where. I've watched like 200 videos and I just don't think this game is for me. Half of this stuff doesn't even work against bots, and this game is mainly bots so far for me.
@@DSP_Gaming0you are better off chilling out a tad and playing with actual people that’s how most learn as you see what players do often, if you stress yourself out on any game you will go no where in progress
Parry button is there. But parry button used to be a little slower due to the way input buffering worked. Also depending on your input combination parry button could cause issues
