You are so right about rushing. It seems like insecurity sets in that you might not have time to get all the photos you need or that you are boring your subject. Oddly, your client will feel better if you take your time. They want you to get the best possible images, and if it takes a few more moments, they will normally prefer that to the alternative!

I have been watching your vids last few hrs. Really enjoy how you teach. Thinking about your class but I only shoot 35mm film. It's nice that you can blow threw so many photos and adjust the photos while your working. Dose anyone know if my ÀF MINOLTA / SONY A mount lense will work with a sony A77 I'm thinking about getting. I meen dose the AF and ttl still work threw the mount converter if I have to use one. Thank you for your time. Thank SLR for the time he and his team takes to post to the world.

"it's worth reitterating the attention to detail".. great mantra and great turorial, going with the flow and adjusting and tweaking to the situation.. one thing to mention is to prepare for your own blindspots.. the areas where you simply are not spending energy to optimize.. His shirt would definitely be in his pants if you had a stylist with you on this shoot.. then you can focus on thinking with light and your collaborator can use your work as representation of their own skills.. always invest in assistants, tell them to focus on one thing so you can bring it all together as a photographer

how does one decrease the base iso of a camera ?

Should be in your camera settings under ISO increments or ISO adjustments, it allows you to go to 50 or 100 and change the increments so you're only shooting native ISOs.

Part of the sunglasses he holds up in the darker image are visible in the final edit. Probably would have been better to take the background picture without any person in it.

You didn't take out all the way the "ladder" where the guy were standing with the flash.Check the front wheel of the bike . Good job btw :))

To be honest, you lost an opportunity to highlight the setting. I lived in the Southwest and I met countless older cool hippy midlife-crisis motorcycle guys. That could have been an incredible image without darkening it and naturally telling a story of the guy in that location... just say'n. Yes, I KNOW I could have hit that out of the park.
