Going into my third year after diagnosis and treatment, now on TRT and feeling great, I think of you as my "Ace in the hole" if I ever get a recurrence. Thank you so much for your expertise, and for spreading it on these video presentations.

And out of nowhere stage 4 prostate cancer with the PSA numbers around 11000. Just received my 4th radiation treatment, hoping for an outcome that leaves me surviving with use of my legs again. I went from being able to walk to being just temporarily hopefully, paralyzed below the waist

Out-of-pocket costs for a PSMA PET-CT can be up to $10,000. Someone has to do something to get the cost down.

I am surviving thanks to your guidance on PSMA-PET. I fought for one in 2020 after biochemical recurrence., found two iliac lymph nodes. Small. Added to Salvage scope + 18 Months Lupron (yuk) now T levels back to normal PSA still undetectable. Six months at a time. Carnivore diet since 2024. NO PAIN ANYWHERE. No prescriptions. Lifting weights and thriving. Thank you for giving the me the confidence to fire a few Urologists along the way.

I hear everywhere not to eat red meat with prostate cancer ...?

@pwaveqrs1 Месяц назад
@@Skwarek-wp8dc I heard that too. I was eating plant based for the last few years. Now after nothing but meat eggs salt and water for 5 months I am much stronger and ready for any treatment that comes next. I will never do Lupron again. The testosterone research is mixed and mostly pre-PSMA-PET scans.

I heard of a new oral drug just approved by the FDA. I'm interested what is the success rate and can it be used with other treatments?

I apologize for my first comment, it was truly off topic. For a patient with diffuse Mets who show’s PSA undetectable for 2 years, only being on Xgeva (18 months), Xtandi, and Lupron, with no chemo, radiation, or surgery, is chemo a viable option or wait till the PSA rears it’s ugly head? I’m sure there are others in this boat who had a fairly high PSA to start (mine was 1,300) who’s oncologist and urologist have said to leave that as the “next bullet” if the PSA rises. I watch all the PCRA videos for one reason . . . very informative with little to no BS. Thank you.

I like Dr. Kwon's style! Of course, a tad biased with the "standard of care" and typical AMA mentality, but his realistic view is good with relation to prostate cancer. However, he needs to branch out further with consideration of other modalities.

I had my prostate removed 20 years ago, but the PSA has since increased to 1.86. However, over the last two years I have had three PSMA PET scans that have shown nothing. Mark remarked that some with increasing PSA have had to turn from PSMA PET scans to alternatives before they could locate their cancer. I would be very interested in getting specific details.

Hi, I’d appreciate a comment…. I was diagnosed 8 years ago, after a psa of 7, had a biopsy, Gleason of 5+2. I chose not to have treatments offered, which was removal of the prostate, and due to my physiology this wasn’t possible easily. I chose to take homeopathic , hopefully immune boosting substances. However my psa has risen slowly but somewhat steadily to now be 28. I did have scans two years ago that didn’t show any spread, but not had a pet scan. I don’t have any symptoms, maybe rise 3 times a night for urination, am 68.
