Very interesting "rhythm rolling "concept. lots of moving parts but an excelent analysis of how presets work and understanding what the toss result is telling the shooter attempting an influenced result via DI. Personally I have found that sticking with the set and avoiding set adjustments works best for me unless I am trying to snip a number for whatever reason. I use this approach because I am looking for repeat/signature numbers vs all the numbers in a hand. Just saying. @@CrapsMasterJourney Hi Joe, here is something to cover if you haven't already. You have a great channel and this info I have learned after many years working at the skill may help some of the folks getting into DI. When pre-positioning dice in a craps game understand that there are always six possible sevens that can end up in the toss result. The shooter over time analyzing the results of their toss mechanics will begin to see how to best arrange the dice based on the tendencies present in their toss mechanics. Consider, if two of the same number are pre-positioned on the primary faces there will be two possible seven results if the toss result remains on axis (double pitch). If four of the same numbers are prepositioned (hard way set) there are four possible (double pitch) seven results if the toss result remains on axis. So, if the dice are positioned in a way that eliminates double pitch and single pitch sevens if the toss result remains on axis, there are only four off axis sevens left to worry about, two if both are off axis and two if only one goes off axis. Consequently, when the tossing skill reaches 50% or better on axis toss results, positioning the one and six in the primary faces with the five and two faces on one and the four and three faces on the other can produce a preset that takes advantage of no double pitch or single pitch sevens if the toss result remains on axis. There however will be two primary hit sevens which are difficult to toss. On the other hand, if the results are indicating a higher percentage of off axis toss results using a hard way type set can be more of an advantage to the shooter.
