Note: This only stops them from shooting at you, not charging at you, so make sure to keep them at bay with knockback.

@@laff__8821 I dunno I'm a little hesitant about bosses as almost every boss that has a projectile also has a charge attack, knocking you out of position and forced to eat projectiles for dinner.

@@abserd01even then, most bosses have pretty high contact damage, so this strat would only really work best for the mechanical worm.

@@d2jkmanexcept retinazer after spazmatism is dead. you can actually do this without any glitches already if you make a roof and a wall to your left and then use things like meteor staff or summons as a non glitch cheese method

Then you should be in higher place and avoid high terrain like hill and big tree cuz destroyer will be able to climb it and reach you

Im not sure if there is lore about this, but: You summon the eye of cthulhu, kill it, and the cultists have to find a way around not being able to summon it completely, so they kidnap the mechanic, throw her in the dungeon and make her create the mechanical bosses. There is probably a few lines explaining the actual origins of these bosses, but i just thought about it and i loved this.

Guide to be god: use the platform to block swap and slime statues with heart statues to be immune. As in accessories choose holy necklace and a bunch of defence oriented accessories. using best defence armor is recommended. If I'm right the slime statue's slimes will block all contact damage or at least most of it.

Pretty sure they did a soft fix to this exploit a long while back and if you would take damage from more than one source when invincibility frames wear off the largest one applies.

Also for anyone’s wanting to do this do not use the queen slime hook as all hooks normally despawn after 15 min but the queen slime hook despawns after 5
