Other than fleeting time making tank Johnson less tankier, there is no need to be driving 24/7 because he’s best when driving with someone, and with mage we need to allow them to clear their wave too. Without fleeting time the cooldown is not the highest either, so personally I think there’s no need. As for mage johnson, you can use fleeting time, but would be better to buy it as last item or 2nd, since buying it earlier leaves you with not enough damage to kill them, and they’ll just escape. I prefer to go full damage, and while I have no ult, I go clear minion waves others won’t clear.
@@Zerhiral as a Johnson main(who got to mythic in soloq), i feel that driving 24/7 (for tank) in the game is better than being less tanky early game because if you are driving, you can save ur mm or exp from ganks considering that the hyper will go to either of the lanes to get a first blood. I do understand what point you are saying for the tank build, for my type of build (personally) I like the "protect teamates from ganks" kinda build so for like your tank build i would not have a Antique Cuirass and oracle in the build and instead put fleeting time as the 2nd item in the build but have dominance ice as the 3rd item, replacing Antique Cuirass with immortality, then blade armor, as a last item (which sometimes i swap with other items in my build) i use athena's Shield. No comments for the mage version.
