I am so happy with my feet ! I had my left foot done last year, and my right foot done last month. My surgeon corrected my very severe bunions, with a Lapidus procedure, rotated the Halux and inserted titanium plates and screws, and also did the Atkins Osteotomy. I don’t mind being off my foot, it is long term success that I want, not a “ Quick Fix” only to have the bunions “ recur “ in a few years . I have complete confidence in my Orthopedic surgeon, I did my research and actually decided on his Medical Practice which is an hour’s drive from my home. ( The two big, local hospitals did not offer modern procedures, only old fashioned bunioneictomies). I would advise anyone to do their research, and to borrow or purchase a Knee Rover, don’t even waste your money on crutches. Be well! And thank you to this doctor who posted this honest, informative video😊

I'm having a revision surgery on an unsuccessful lapiplasty from last year. I'm so disappointed. All that pain for very little change. And, he was a highly recommended surgeon. Much more involved surgery to remove the hardware, etc. Thank you for your explanation of the different techniques.

How refreshing it is to listen to an expert who delivers the presentation with honesty. And thank you to taking advantage of the RU-vid platform accessible to all researching the best avenue to take. Most impressive, offering a consultation for out of towners and recommending an experienced foot surgeon. Thank you for your service to all.

Very good information! Thank you. My bunion is getting worse, having pain daily, heal and bottom of big toe hurt twice as much. I see the 2nd dr. Mid Nov. also in my 60's.

I’ll be 60 in April. I’m with you; same pain issues and have escalated to be a bit too much.

Thank you for this video. I had bunion surgery in 2005, and it needs to be done again and properly this time. Your explanation was very informative.

Why not use some sort of surgical wire to attach the top of the first metatarsal to the top of the second thereby pulling it back into alignment?

What about the tightrope surgery being done on California. It was shown in the doctors show. I am looking into that.

Thank you, for your expertise information and advise! I have moderate bunions and never had surgery yet. I live in Wellington, Florida (Palm Beach County). Can you recommend a Orthopedic Foot Surgeon, who knows all the different operations?

Would you review AlphaMet ISD (formerly known as Cyclaplex)? It is better than mini tightrope and returns anatomical function.

Look up mini tightrope, dr. Sadrieh. No screws or pins.

I wish I could go back in time and choose NOT to have Dr. Baravarian at University Foot and Ankle Institute perform my lapidus bunionectomy. It remains a regret. The surgery had to be corrected. The "Forever Bunionectomy" lasted less than a year.

You really do need a animated demonstration video. You lost your audience by rambling on with laypersons and potential patients.
