@@raks... You are wrong. It's a huge positive. That is why thousands of Canadians work in Detroit. In engineering, medical, business admin, etc. Pay is significantly higher in the US than in Canada.

There is a ton of fast food restaurants but they pay minimum wages. Where I work there's quite a few engineering students I think they get paid I think the government subsidizes part of their wage.

Great and very true since my daughter has joined the university in jan.. Just one trouble no one gives reference for part time jobs since she is struggling to get one

Is your daughter found a job yet? Fast food restaurants are always hiring. And if you're not living with her here in Canada make sure she's in a safe area. I see too many international students walking alone to school in the worst areas early in the morning when I'm driving my wife to work. They need to be in groups. I don't want to scare you or anyting but it's not safe where the University is.

Just search on Facebook marketplace or kijiji.ca Private rooms go for around 500-600$ You can get something in sharing for as low as 300-350 per person Apartments would be little expensive Almost 1.5 times the prices of normal rooms

Its much higher now. Depends on the type of house and rooms you want. Check kijiji.ca or Facebook marketplace. Expect 2000$ for a 3 bedroom house minumum

@@aryankansagara7678 It all depends on the course, field, funds, area preference. A good uni for me can be a bad option for you. So its always best to do your research and don’t listen to anyone. I say this because this is a decision that your whole life will depend on. No one. I repeat- No one is qualified enough to give you suggestions on life altering decisions for you. Sit down one night. Research and shortlist some unis. Apply to them Get the offer letters Then decide which one to go in. - All by yourself. Hope it helped

फ़ेसबुक पर कुछ ऐसे ग्रुप्स भी हैं जो कमरे के लिये पोस्ट डालते रहते हैं उनपर नज़र रखो और किसी को पहले पैसे ना दो कोशिश करो के यहाँ पर आके ही पैसे दो। कुछ लोग इंडिया में बैठे हुए लोगो का ग़लत फ़ैदा उठाते हैं। पैसे लेकर कमरा नहीं देते। इसलिए अगर वहाँ से बुक कर रहे हो तो कोई ना कोई ID Proof ज़रूर ले लो
