I know this isn't what the song is about but the music video reminded me of it. Being abused growing up I remember looking at the older kids and younger adults thinking to myself that I wanted their freedom or what appeared to be freedom for them. Love this song. It is so lyrically and musically strong, especially with the piano. The video doesn't necessarily correlate to the song -- I would have rather seen some love story -- but it's sad and touching nonetheless. The lyric "I know I should have treated you better" could apply to any love theme.
