this blaster packs in a lot of really nice features into a $40 package - XT-30 compatibility, a modular stock, good performance, and snappy trigger action. I’m not really a fan of the new rev trigger design, but it doesn’t really bring my opinion of the blaster down. well done Dart Zone, and great review!
@@devo360 Awesome! How do you feel about the rev trigger design? Do you think it enhances the experience, or would the blaster be better with a more traditional design?
@foamquest I prefer the traditional location however I think the rev trigger doesn't take away from the experience the muscle memory from using the venom helped make the rev feel natural
Best Compact High Performance Pro Semi Auto Motorized Blaster for just 40$ OUT of Box what you get now at the market🔥💯. And also really cool that the blaster has a xt30 connector and you can use it instead freaking 12 aa batteries🔋🤯 with a 2s or 3s lipo accu👍 I personally will use it with a 3s lipo (11.1V). Also really like the Design🔥 Overall pretty cool and also good blaster👌😎 Love it💚😋
I just got this blaster today and I love this thing being able to take out the battery tray and put a xt-30 battery in is very convenient and the trigger is snappy
Inserting Pro Stryfe Title Here, but despite the rev trigger placement, for the ergo, price, and performance, I'd say its the best semi-auto flywheel blaster I've ever used!
@@foamquest I got it, and now I hate the Venom Rev trigger. Lol There's definitely a quality control issue with the beaver tail rev. The spring has a tendency to walk out of it's intended location, either a design flaw or how it was originally shipped. When I get it working properly, it works great and is really fun to shoot. It just shouldn't take so much to get it working. Currently thinking about picking up the Maxim to see if I have a better experience with that.
@Andygriff1975 Right now (mostly because of recency bias), the Maxim! But for me generally, I'd probably use the Omnia. The Gen 2 version is SUPER accurate, and I get to use a more traditional rev trigger! 😅
@@foamquest It's an interesting question considering one is around $40, one around $80 and one around $120 under normal MSRP (yes, I bought the MK3 when it was $40 and Omnia around $60). I have all three, but I think I might just keep the MK3 in the box for now.
When I used this blaster at foam fest last week, I was absolutely amazed to just how awesome this blaster is. The mechanical trigger pull puts the stryfe X and sender to shame, same with the magazine release. I can't wait to get one lol, Also was your rechargeable battery fully charged? And great review btw.
@jackboulter4901 It DEFINITELY puts the Sender trigger to shame! It's an awesome blaster, for sure! The battery was not fully charged but used so minimally that I was comfortable using it for the review.
@@foamquestit’s battery space is just big enough for the bigger DZ 1800mah Lion battery as well (same one that comes with the Omnia / larger gel blasters)
@anthonytrussoni9926 I would say yes! As much as I like the MK-3, the Maxim seems more accurate and is more compact. BUT, if you want that semi or full auto capability, probably the MK-3! Though, I will say, I'm not saying this is all of them, but the second MK-3 I bought last year did not work as well as the first. It had issues. Hopefully, either that was a fluke, or they've corrected the issues by now! Just an FYI. :)
I’d go with the maxim. The mk3 uses a 5A switch which has resulted in some burnouts even when just using regular AAs. The maxim and gen 2 omnias use 10A switches which can handle more.
Don't worry about the mags... It uses mags from practically and competitive short dart gun you can get (the cross compatibility of this blaster's mags and ease of reload is amazing, I like using my longshot mag which has almost double the shots per mag).
I feel like Flynn Rider with all the blades pointed at me because I love this rev trigger LOL. I kinda understand why people aren’t fond of it but for me it just melts into my hands so nicely Also I think you have like super darts or sum because I wasn’t getting shots with 160-170 fps on a 2s 😂
