A form fit angled foregrip, sort of low profile but curved and comfortable would be an awesome addition to this blaster. I installed a 3D printed angled grip to my Spectrum and it changed the feel of that blaster completely.
Yeah I was hoping he'd look instead of just looking at the wire gauge. Maybe DZ doesn't want people pointing it out because it's going to be on store shelves. Who knows
just saw this video in my recommended feed. i havent seen his videos since i was in middle school and seeing that intro just as cheesy as ever is just so nice. also, wow has the perduction quality gone up.
Same here. It's also pretty comedic to see the doomerism around Nerf back when I was more plugged into the community was well-founded. The only good thing they had was Rival for so long. Now they're smoked.
in my opinion their new springer for their pro line is the only one worth it from the new ones, the other one just isn't doing it for me compared to the Maxim
@@JoshSwordNerd counter argument, the entire top moves, and if you have good trigger discipline you will destroy your fingers, exactly like the ultra 3
@@carter_schwertman thats fair lol, I can definitely see some issues with that, though it might be fixable with 3d printed parts, no guarantee anyone will make one though.
@@pootispickle4482 I know lol. the idea was cool and all, but I don't think I would ever buy it unless the potential future mods would drastically improve it, which is why I say it is the only one worth looking into. but even then, a nexus pro x would be still be better
Wow... I don't know what made me think of this channel after so long but today I just randomly thought of you and all of the fun childhood memories of playing with blasters:)) The last time I was around here was probably 4 or 5 years ago and me and my best friend were spending our summers modding blasters and flinging foam. Now I'm engaged and working a full time job as a technician for Volkswagen, I moved up to airsoft and I have race in auto crosses with my own sponsored car. It's wild to think how much I've changed but how much is still the same:) I'm still a goofy kid who would love to play with that blaster, and I'm glad to see you're doing well:)
Great to see that there are Decent Off the shelf blasters (even if we dont get them on shelf in the UK) And good to to see you enjoying doing reviews of new stuff. It needs some LEDs ;)
Another great video. Thanks for getting straight into the meat of it with your videos, no fluff filler BS. I really appreciate that. And yeah, I'm with you... "smitten" for sure on this one. Ever since my Orange RC clear orange remote for my drones and airplanes, I've always been a fan of that choice in shell color. Plus, 150fps semi-auto is my preferred game limits. Just enough range to running ratio IMHO I'd like to see what it'd do with a 3S lipo just plugged right in to the stock configuration. I'm sure that'll be one of the first tests? :D Thanks again for another concise video and breakdown
@@bigmrmacharwardOh okay, so it should work with the Pulsar Pro battery pack. Good to know Dart Zone/Gel Zone is sticking with that battery pack after all the ones Hasbro adopted only to abandon shortly after.
I love the Stryfe x, and it’s really really hard for anything to replace it for me, but I’ve been absolutely loving this chicken nugget lookin’ dingus blaster
been waiting on this one since it leaked/got announced! it will be my entry into performance level flywheelers since I can actually afford this one, and I like it better than nerfs new one and trust AF/DZ more at this point lol
Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but N-Strike Elite was the last production series where I actually liked the shells. The lines of them were peak. Most of what has been released since with few exceptions has just been downright ugly. (note I'm not talking about performance, or the paint, but the plastic shells themselves)
I like the shells of the earlier blasters in the N-Strike Elite series, but a lot of the later ones were kinda ugly imo. Such as the Rukkus, SurgeFire, Trilogy....
I wanna see what this blaster needs the most (all theses SMG's really) some sort of auto loading drum mag, It's like a bucket thing that you can dump another bucket of halfsies into and it slowly sifts them into full 15 round mags. BUT SLOWLY, GOD FORBIT SOME GUY MOUNTS HIS BLASTER UPONIT.
It needs the teeniest tiniest most svelt AFG up under that rail. Not even a full grip. Closer to a hand stop than anything. Just something to smooth out the picatinny rail and blend into the mag. If only there was someone in the Nerf hobby who had a shop where they sold 3D printed attachments that they designed in house... 🤔
Looks good. DZ is taking the market by storm. Now the only thing to change: some better colors!!!!!!! Not convinced about the rev trigger placement, what was wrong with a traditional placement?
I cannot wait to see a mod video!!! I want to see if it'll work with Stryfe flywheel changes even though I know it's not very likely but a guy can dream. I would love to see a new rev trigger added, like where it would be on a Stryfe. Where will these be available?
@@Andygriff1975venom has it in a bad spot too. They should have utilized the dual action trigger the nightingale had. We shouldn't get used to downgraded designs.
Didn't get a chance to watch the modding stream. Definitely gonna try to catch the next one. Do you have a video coming on the Venom Pro? Also, can you provide dimensions for the Maxim's mag release? I would like to design a custom mag release for when I get a Maxim.
The Venom pro and this one are winwins, I wont get the first because I don't want to buy nightingale mags and I don't like it being green, but this one uses talons and looks awesome so yeah, I have no excuse, I will buy it
Hey Drac, this looks extremely awesome, but I wonder, how heavy is the Maxim Pro with eight rechargeable batteries (since some are a little heavier than the others) against a 3s li poli battery. The reason I'm asking this is I can picture modding the Maxim Pro into a Nerf version of a Skorpion
A drum that fits all the worker mag wells would just be so awesome! Make it rear loadable like the stryker 2.0 and I would never use a regular mag again!
Personally I'll be skipping this one I already have a stryfe x and the more traditional Rev trigger in the nerf pro sender is easily worth the extra 10 bucks I. My eyes
@@NicholasJensAfter how much we sang praises for DZ integrating the XT-60 into the MK. 3, they'd be remiss on not standardizing on it. It'd be a waste for them too, to not go for that when the blaster's clearly wired for higher amps.
I don't like the new rev switch setup. I thought it's just a one off on the Venom because that has a mag in grip design. The maxim should have just stuck with the traditional rev switch set up.
