Would love that feature come back! 12:56 I agree a replacement for rage would be great, they should also turn back on the “superheroes only” voice that used to play at the top of the lifthill. 23:07 I also agree this was always best suited as a teenager focused dark ride. I’d hope that if Adventure Island bring in a new thrill coaster, they’d make a ghost train for older riders as well. 28:57 “Raging River” was a great flume with good theming too. It was a shame when Rage took it’s place. A new flume would be so good but unlikely.

@@TheNextOuting yes and I fact that in my top five rides I really like is… …top 5th is definitely mighty mini mega because it’s so rough. Top 4th is definitely pirate’s plunge because I love waving to all the kids. Top 3rd 🥉 is definitely vertigo because I the views of the sea 🌊 and the hole of the park. Top 2nd 🥈 is definitely axis because it is a very fast looping flat ride. Top 1st 🥇 is definitely the best until last for Shaun and I is the Time Machine because it is such fun and really thrilling flat ride. 👍👍👍🎉🎉🎉🎠🎠🎠🎢🎢🎢🎡🎡🎡🌎🌎🌎
the thing is with rage it has an excuse to be rough however i think adventure island has done a better job of maintaining it as it’s older than saw but i’d say saw is rougher
I was at Adventure Island just under 2 months ago. It is a good park however I thought that they were slow on the day with getting the trains moving quickly especially on Over The Hill 2 when the train is in the station and they don’t let people get onto the train until the other train is in the station.
Over the hill 2 is a pile of trash nothing improve-able compared to the original one in which they removed the scary fake station before the main station finish

Nice vlog, really enjoyed and always look forward to next. Went to Southend on Sea yesterday, but only nipped into Adventure Island for 15 mins as left it really late, had a long journey back home. Got permission to film & everything, then had to go home. Shame, hope to return soon. Think a new coaster is 100% needed now, was thinking maybe a RMC Custom coaster like Moose Coaster, but its own layout, bigger layout & maybe themed? In space where either Rage is or where Fireball, Mighty Mini Mega, Small wheel & Barnstormer are? Aswell land behind Fireball as would open up a lot of space for a coaster like that? If not? Would like to see a water coaster offering both a coaster element & water ride splash elements especially as in Summer it can get very hot. Maybe with cold times, water clears and it becomes a water boat ride and coaster? But not splashdown? Either one of those be good options in my opinion? But interesting vlog, hope to return later this year? 🤔😀👍
I used to hang out there when I was younger and I remember when it was called peterpan land lol also the prices there has always been reasonable not only that you can leave the funfair and then come back in anytime which was good 😉

THAT IS HOW YOU DO IT!! and I don't just mean your fantastic videos:) This park looks great, everything is well looked after, they're constantly upgrading/refurbishing and the staff seem friendly and happy.Other parks take note...I'm thinking of that green slime they call water at Fantasy Island!! I went here couple of weeks ago. I love Adventure Island. BPB could learn a lot from this park (opening hours, free to access/pay per ride). Much like they used to be like.
It's a great little park - personally, I'd love to see them get a thrill/family-thrill coaster. Something on the same level as a woodie, Gerstlauer Bobsled or family launched would be fantastic.
This was so fun to watch! I haven’t been to Southend in about 15+ years when I was a little kid and there’s a lot of new rides now, but some that I remember are also gone 😢. I remember there was a pirate themed section with a pirate ship & other rides and a gold mine/cave. It feels so weird to say Rage is 17 years old, I still call it “the new rollercoaster”. I still remember when it was new & I was scared to go on it…and still am 🤣😭. Rollercoasters scared me, so my favourite ride was American Whip 😭. Anyway, great video!
great walk in parks like this and fantasy island don’t have to be stuck there all day blackpool pleasure beach was a walk in park when i was young with the old fun house and laughing clown at the front it was much better 😄

Hi Shawn & Charlotte, I went to Oakwood on Wednesday for After Dark. (got back home at 4am) It was truly amazing Megafobia at night, such great entertainment. If you guys aren’t, I’d recommend visiting this year.
I can't believe they get that much in such a small space, my mum used to go in the crooked house over 60 years ago!! It was more quaint then with characters from the time in the rooms. But the stairs are still the same! Thanks for the vlog😀

Shawn and Charlotte there is a West end cafe in London where they sing all songs from musicals whilst you eat,maybe be a good idea for sanbrooke adventures next time you're in London 😀
Looks a great park and even better with some POV's. Not sure about Rage though as the loop at 11:11 seems wobbly! Call me picky but I like rollercoaster track supports to be firm and stable.

Yes! I think they’ve made the park more child friendly because when I was a kid, Beelzee Bob's Trail (which is now Over The Hill) used to be kinda scary. The Crooked House was kinda scary too, and I may be remembering wrong but I’m pretty sure it never used to have lights
Don't see the point in them keeping the smaller big wheel and having them sitting right next to eachother, at least separate them to give unique views!
