Every year is different and wonderful at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh Wisconsin!! Hope you enjoy our coverage on it :-) Here’s the full episode on the flight with the Phillips 66 Aerostars! • AEROBATICS in formatio...
Hello Emily and Aaron! I grew up about 10 miles south of the Fond u Lac Airport. I never looked forward to the EAA event, all it meant to us living there was traffic jams and strangers trying to take over 'our' living space. Our neighbors took advantage of the opportunity to rent out campsites all over their farm. Seeing now after being gone from the area 30 years, I just might be inclined to go to 2022 EAA, 'might'. So glad you all had fun and were able to see things you missed previously. Love the content and the channel!
I have waited calmy for this vid to come out!!! LoL A+!!! Been watching J for a few years now and to see you guys all hanging out now it freaking great! At the begin, nice roll out and rotate and the Erin you slipped the camera off to the right and down! I thought the plane was going down!!! Lmao. Thanks guys! 👍🏻👍🏻😎😎😎
Holy-smOkes! I literally recognized this gal the second I saw the thumbnail! I was standing there looking at scrappy at the Garmen booth when you were there!! 😆
The nite airshow was indeed awesome, the longest fireworks show I have ever attended. The plane with fireworks emitting from it was indeed cool. All the warbirds were super cool. I talked to the fellow who flew in on the SBD-5 Dauntless, beautiful airplane. My company has a booth, so we worked and played all week. Hope to see you Next Year !
I have seen your phenomenal care repair show, love it! Glad you are into flying and came to Oshkosh...it's such a fun time!! Hope to run into you at Airventure 2022!!
Our shop restored and maintains the P-38 Lighting that you talk about at around the 13:10 mark. I wish I would have been around to meet you two. Maybe next year. I enjoy the channel.
When you sump your tanks if the fuel isn’t contaminated, just put it back in the tank. Don’t throw it on the ground. Lead is highly toxic and should never be discarded like that. Really enjoy your channel though and your content! It’s really fun to watch! Thanks for all the work you guys do!
I always put it back in the tank as long as it is not contaminated. I have to climb up to visually check fuel quantity anyway (C172K) so its not any extra work
So glad you kids had a great time! I only wish you could have experienced what EAA was like in the early years. Like Rockford and the early years at Oshkosh!
Great video guys. I remember you talking about this new channel but hadn't realised that you'd started until today. Hope it goes well and I like what i see. It should have been called "Having Fun with Aaron & Emily". Never mind, I'll just jump in and watch your previous videos. Cheers from your Aussie sub.
Great video and awesome adventure. OSH was on our list for this year, but a few life twists changed those plans. Cancer sucks but, I love having a wife that kicked cancers a$$ and is ready to return to the air! She ROCKS. OSH is already in the works for next year, plus a few outings between now and then. Truly enjoy your channel(s) and the shared passions. When you added aviation is was "pertinear perfect". I agree with the others, an airplane build series would be amazing, you know since you have soo much free time :) Glad it was a fun, safe trip .. tailwinds.
I really enjoy watching the two of you on you tube. I am not a car guy, but I am a boat guy, so I was so excited when you started Jump in with Arron & Emily. However, when I found that you only put out a video every 8 weeks or so; my excitement died way down.
Sorry to kill your excitement 😂😂 I did real good the first month making uploads every week, then the summer got crazy!!! We’ll get back to more frequent videos 😉
Nicely done. My wife and I volunteer all week long there each year. There's nothing like Oshkosh. Glad you got to fly in an Extra. Amazing airplane. I just wish they had more experimentals versus factory built airplanes that fly into the show.
While I am a regular at Sun'n'Fun, Oshkosh is still on my to do list. Thanks so much for this vid, think I will need to watch it again. Just in case I missed something.
I had a dream last night after watching the video that I was flying with you guys, seeing all the beautiful landscapes from the sky. Hope y’all are doing well!
This episode brought back a fawn memory of when I won a local radio contest and got ride along with the air traffic plane. At age 12 the pilot gave me the controls and I got to fly! It was so cool! I remember the experience to this day! My mom…..well she tries to forget! Hahaha! Aaron how long have you’ve been a pilot? And Emily are you a pilot too? If not, have you thought about becoming one yourself? The reason I ask is that I think two pilots would be better than one. Haha! I’m just saying! And FBOs are really great! They are kind of like what I did in the USAF in our Air Operations facility. Our office made sure our transient pilots were well taken care of while they visited. Love this channel guys! Thanks!
thats really neat, at the ranch theres actaully a small airport just within a hf mile, one hanger an one truck, always wondered why there was always a truck that would never move, clint eastwood uses it from time to time to check on his property in the valley as well as the airport in fall river that he has his hanger at and a nice ranch there, never got to meet him yet myself but when grandpa was alive he used to get his horses for his westerns from him
Great video, first time on your channel. Emily’s narration was just superb. You guys make a nice couple too! When your best fly buddy is your wife it does not get much better than that.
When the Phillips Oil Co. first started, the vice p;resident went to visit the first gas station in Oklahoma, which was located on Route 66. On his way, He noted that he was driving at 66 mp;h on Rt. 66. He told the president that the company should be named Phillips 66, so it was.
All I can say is I'm glad I suggested it many weeks ago and it is so cool we got to see Aaron in the Cessna. Did you guys get a chance to go watch the STOL demo? I was just watching Steve Henry at RENO STOL DRAGS. SOOOO COOOLLLL!
ill be there next year and ill make sure to come on a night time air show day. looks so fricken awesome, just wish it wasent as humid that day i did go
Love anything cars or aircraft .... A Titan Mustang kit build with a LS3 for power would be an awesome build for you two ! Bet you could get a lot of corporate sponsorship.
Aaron, I notice you are wearing a Iola T-shirt. I assume you go there also. To bad the Iola show wasnt right before Oshkosh. You could visit both on the same trip. Being from S/E Wisconsin, Oshkosh is only a 50 minute flight.
Great content as always. The plane you questioned is a P38, or the Fork Tailed Devil as the Nazis called it. It was used as a bomber, escort on bombing runs, and fighter in its own right. On a lighter note, I was confused during the opening sequence as it appeared Aaron had left without you! Thank you, it was great to live this adventure vicariously!
@@bennetbr761 OK. I did watch some building on Trent Palmer's channel. I thought I remembered someone there saying they were used for fuel, which I thought was a bad idea.
As a fellow pilot (of many years.....) I enjoyed this video of you two guys and Ellie. I have lotsa hours in a 172, and I still tell me wife that I believe you can land a 172 most anywhere in an emergency!! Even a large parking lot.. lol Delete this comment if you deem necessary, but are you all based at the Gun Barrel airport? My wife is from East Tx. (Kemp/Ally/ area) and still have some family that live in Gun Barrel. Great trip to Oshkosh. Perfect plane to fly up there. Regards,
Hey guy just found your other Channel it’s cool that was so wild so cool hey guys I like to share with others especially you guys flying here in the State in Maine we have a awesome Maine owls head transportation museum from motorcycles lawnmowers vintage log haulers cars trucks airplanes etc. they have A RU-vid channel hope you guys enjoy
Next year, stop in Bolivar, MO for gas! M17. I have it on the best of authority that pulled pork sandwiches will be available! (My wife will be fixing them, LOL.) EAA Chapter 1609 will be giving them out, hoping for a donation. :) And if you stop in between 1 and 5pm on Sundays, I man the desk! (And we have not one, but TWO Crown Vic courtesy cars, LOL.)
