See amazing scenes in and around Seward, Alaska. I head out on a cruise through the Kenai Fjords National Park. I spend a morning at the spectacular Alaska Sealife Center. I visit the Exit and Byron glaciers.

Come along and travel the world with Richard Green. Retiring in the spring of 2023, I am embarking on full-time world travel. I'm going solo, but the idea here is not to focus on me so much. It's about the places and the people along the way.
The title Old, Alone and Far From Home might initially come across as a sad state of being. My mission is to show that it's just the opposite.

It was definitely soggy there, but nothing I could do about it, but forge ahead. Actually, I did by a new raincoat, which made it much more comfortable to be out in those conditions.

I live in Anchorage and get to Seward a couple times per year. I agree- Seward is better than Homer. But plenty of folks will argue with us both.

I have heard from plenty who swear by Homer. No mistake, it's a nice place, but I (we) prefer Seward. Thank you for watching!

OMG! I LOVED THIS VIDEO. My girlfriend (now fiancé) visited Seward AK. Last year , I was thoroughly impressed with it. Thankfully, the weather was good and the view WAS spectacular! The glacier cruise was a highlight of our trip while the SeaLife (now member) center was pretty awesome. Your video brought back some great memories, and we definitely look forward to going back. (BTW, I asked Jenn to marry me in Alaska too, although it was in Denali National Park)
