Ok someone has got to somehow make the lines: "Have a free sample of my super freeze breath!" and "I just stole candy from 4822 babies!" popular cause they deserve it.
Well we did get something similar to that in the second Sonic movie and in quest for the Chaos Emeralds in this show we see that it pretty much turns them into a god no in as the supreme High Robotnik
@SvenFletcher This episode, along with the Chaos Emerald story arc, were animated by the same company that did the intro, so the quality is noticeably better than the other episodes.
Plot twist: that chemical stuff that Robotnik got himself into has the equivalent power of all 7 Chaos Emeralds. So Sonic could become Super Sonic just from getting splashed in the face with the same chemicals used to make Super Robotnik. This also means that the chemicals tie in with the Sonic games themselves because of it. In Sonic Adventure 1, when we see Chaos for the first time, Chaos and the chemicals in this episode share the same light blue goopy-like properties, which means that Chaos used lots of the chemical muck inside the Master Emerald to form whatever Chaos wanted to be. And with each Chaos Emerald holding a certain amount of more chemical muck in them, Dr. Robotnik would use this to his advantage and make Perfect Chaos a few years after the events of being Super Robotnik. But it doesn’t end there. In SA1, before fighting Chaos 6 as Big The Cat, Froggy jumps into the liquid body of Chaos 6, and because of this, because Froggy was swimming in Chaos 6, not only did this mean that Froggy was secretly the strongest side character in the entire franchise, but this also means that this chemical muck concept gets to return in the plot of the next game, Sonic Heroes. And I’ll tell you how it works. So since Metal Sonic wanted to be as strong as possible to defeat Sonic, he was gonna have to find a different approach. Metal Sonic knew all about Perfect Chaos and the destruction of Station Square, despite being locked away in the Final Egg. Metal Sonic knew he couldn’t submerge himself in the chemical muck, he didn’t even know how to recreate it himself considering he was locked up. However, Metal Sonic knew one way to get his metal claws on Chaos’ data. That’s right. The frog. So when Metal Sonic morphed into regular Sonic to steal Froggy and Chacola, Metal Sonic’s eyes were mainly on Froggy, for Froggy’s power is like 6 times the power of all 7 Chaos Emeralds which was WAY more than the power Chocola can ever harness. And then, after separating Chaos’ data from Froggy and copying Chocola’s data (as to not kill the Chao), Metal Sonic then went on to copy data from Team Sonic and Team Dark (mainly Shadow’s data was relevant) to get yet another buff of power. And then, when Metal Sonic had all the power in his database, he became the fiercest final boss that SEGA could ever pull off, Metal Madness/Overlord. And it all started, with one small mishap caused by a robot monkey wielding a bucket and a mop. Let that be something to wrap your head around.
