Sean, you should consider adding limb lifter cables to Able. This will help Able go under low branches and save the shelter from damage. Just a thought you have done a great job with LMTV build.
The exo on the cab does a pretty good job as well as the ratchet binding chains. This is a military hardened shelter and not one of those composite boxes you see everyone using most recently. It takes a lot of abuse and doesn't care too much....Thanks for the kind words and for tuning in!
If you extend the tongue of the trailer, you’ll get less of the herky-jerky movements when you travel. It also makes it a lot easier to back up with. I have a somewhat similar set up and I’m going to make the tongue of the trailer adjustable.
@@urgentcareguy3 When we built this trailer we designed it to work perfectly with the lmtv platform. It rides super smooth and is very easy to back up on tight roads. You should check out my playlists and watch the one for this trailer....
I saw it. My trailer is likely much heavier (large gen on it) , so less forgiving of loading and balance. Sliding tongue allows for best of both Worlds of physics. All good...
I think there is an error in the weight of the tank holding the holly water . 💧 I calculated 553.8 and 7.1lbs per gallon on the abacus, but I could be off .. Excellent video father Fillner
can you direct me to your video on tying the s280 down or explaining it or showing some pics? I recently purchased an s280 and am looking to tie it down better than I currently have.
solar and alt battle.... I find it odd the two battled each other that much. Yes it will happen....... the one producing the most power will just supersede the other.... which is strange that your solar was at times putting out higher output than your alt?? hmmm.
The voltage regulator on the hmmwv alts will shut off the 12v-14v side as the batteries top off. The solar will keep trying to add so when they sense voltage from each other it oscillates backs and forth. Once we killed the array breaker everything worked as normal. Simple solution aside from buying another victron component to separate the 2 out...
