Each week I am increasingly overwhelmed by the impact of the Lenoir High School Band on the community, and also the incredible support of the community for the band. This film is such a tribute to the participation of band members in the war effort. I am also realizing the time and skills by Doug Miller to type personal letters, as well as the history presentations. The balance and intonation of the bands are really quite amazing. I can’t imagine the hours spent improving the fidelity of the recordings we are hearing. Nice tribute to Bill Tate for his work.
Wow! The image of Captain James C.Harper in his crisp white uniform, on the ship deck with guns blazing and the Lenoir High School Band dressed in their finest uniforms was a sight to behold! Thank you Doug!
