Class of 2024 here...I guess I'm early lol, but lowkey I am terrified; I am already looking up a lot about colleges, and I think what I'm most terrified of is not having enough accomplishments/extracirriculars and not having hard enough classes. Two of my schools I really want to go to are Minerva or Cornell, but I don't have any AP classes, so I'm just kinda terrified.

i dropped out during junior year of high school due to the stress...i'm back in college now after getting my GED :) i promise that you can move on after any failure!

It’s so weird because it feels like yesterday we were in 5th grade thinking about how much more time we have for school, and now we are here and it’s all real and scary...

I disagree with a lot of this advice. 11th grade is HARD. Unless you are super human, it's not going to be easy. So don't make your life harder than it needs to be. Yes, you are allowed to be involved, but you don't need to do everything. You CAN'T do everything and still be healthy/happy. Prioritize your time on whatever is most important to you, be it your grades, an extra curricular, or a job/volunteering. (And speaking from personal experience, it is OKAY if your priority is not school, as mine isn't.) Just do your best.

ughhh i wish i had been able to see this when i was going to junior year. junior year was really stressful for me, especially with keeping up with my grades at the same time as studying for SAT/ACT. My worst experience was when i had to take my chemistry and Spanish midterms on the same day, and i stayed up the night before studying like crazy, all the way until 3 AM. I woke up 3 hours later physically and mentally drained. I had to call the school to tell them I needed to come in late to take my test because i couldn't take my test the state i was in. definitely take care of your health above all junior year, you need it to get thru. I'm excited for the senior year advice video!
