We started our book biz at the same time! I've been selling books for the last 3 years. I discovered Pango Books recently, good beginner tips! -check comps -be aware of fees -honest descriptions - take in account shipping costs, ship fast (reuse, recycle) -my pro tip would be to schedule pickups to ship orders the next day!
When I list a book on Ebay I leave it there until it sells, sometimes 4 years, if I'm lazy. I could lower the price, or add more pictures, but what do you mean by having to refresh?
On Pango I can take down and relist without penalty. Occasionally I do take books down to take new pictures or change the description. So if I can see no one has shown interest in several months or longer, I’ll do that.
@@KeepCalmwithBooksandCoffee I don't know of any penalty of doing that on Ebay. I usually remove the listing and redo the entire listing adding new pictures etc. because I find it faster to delete the listing and create a new one, than to add and subtract to and from the old one. I responded because I think Ebay and this platform you like are similar, but 20% fees are worse than Ebay, and their site is not as popular.
I post my store link in my videos as well as on my socials occasionally. Posting regularly in the store also helps keep your store near the top of the feed.
