AE TIP #4: Properties Panel [New Feature in After Effects] 

The new Properties panel has been in beta for some time, but this month Adobe introduced it to the stable version. I think the Properties panel will be really useful for shape layers, but you can also use it for other layers' transform properties and even use it on text layers. Go ahead and dock it in your workspace and let us know in the comments how you're using the Properties panel.
