Pros

Cons

Keep the nice case. keep the aluminum replacement cage. keep the extra battery. keep the color instructions. Keep the obstacle avoidance sensors that hardly ever work on any drone. Give me a decent battery decent controller and decent camera. I'm so glad you do these reviews because on paper this quad looks awesome. Keep up the good work

Q101, For this kind of money it should have GPS to make this a useful outdoor video or picture taking quad and not having to worry about it floating away. Overpriced for what you get in my opinion. Hi, I have a suggestion for one of your next videos. In your videos you explain things very clearly and in depth. So how about doing an in depth video dealing with all the acronyms (FPV, RTF and others) and what they mean with an in depth explanation. To newbies like me, they can be very confusing. Also. myself and some friends who are getting into the drone world, we do not like how you have to use an APP on our phone to control the drone. We would much rather use a transmitter controlled and it would be nice to find out what controller can be used in place of the APP. Just a couple of suggestions. Thank You

Yea it was definitely a steal!! You got ROBBED! 💯😂😂 I got mine for $28 and still think I was robbed, there needs to be a 10 pack for these batteries too because 3 min of lame, unintuitive, & frustrating flight that requires a lot of patience and time.. The time part meaning, you have to wait an hour for the damn battery to charge.. great concept, poor execution.

Got mine at Frys 6-2019 for $29. My Ryze/DJI $100. Tello is vastly superior, from Best Buy. Like a Porsche compared to a Yugo needing an alignment after being towed by AAA. Ask around about the Tello entry-level, 3 story height max (without a Gamesir Bluetooth controller $30. 720 HD but Electronic Image stabilization cropping.

Well, the good news is that the camera looks pretty good. A little jello/jitter detected on some of the video, but it was very clear, and the photos were nice. Flight time sucks, as does the so called "position hold". I'm skeptical of those IR detectors as well. I recall another selfie drone you tested (maybe a year ago?) that had those IR sensors on it, and you were flying it in your house, and it flew into a wall or mirror. I'm sure the range isn't all that far, so for $150, I think a person would be far better off just using their cell phone to take the 'selfie' videos and photos .. indoors or close by outdoors. These new cell phones have great cameras in them, with all kinds of features, including stabilization. Oh well, at least this one made it to the market .. the "Lily Drone" didn't even do that. See you're still wearing a jacket in all that California sunshine. I wonder how you'd be dressed if you had to go outside in your Erie stomping grounds where temperatures are in the single digits, and heading down? I've been tracking the ice on Lake Erie, and its almost frozen completely across to Canada by Girard, Pa. Western and Eastern ends of the lake are solid ice at least a foot thick. It's only a couple inches thick where I'm at, and probably not much more than that up at Presque Isle bay. Once it gets to the point that its thick enough to support ice fishermen, I may take out something to get some video of the nutters freezing out there on the ice ... brrrrrr! You may have hit the wrong bell (there are two). Go to my channel page and subscribe if you haven't yet. Notice that there are two bells near the upper right side of the page. The top one is general notification settings. But the bell to receive notifications from my channel is the second bell below it. Click on it, and it should change to include two lines around the bell simulating that the bell is ringing. This means that notifications from my channel are now turned on.

That's quite an interesting device. Selfies aren't my thing (to much risk of camera damage) but that is quite novel in design. If that is the flight time it's a little too brief, but you said it might be battery charge?

Same exact thing as the ROVA selfie drone which is the same price but you can get it at amazon and comes in 4 different colors... I have a blue one, it's alright but not great...i don't have the jello this aee branded one seems to be getting though..I suspect that iot group which sells the rova under their name rebadged it from this one...You can find them on ebay under the rova name for even cheaper, I bought mine for $100

I just flew it again. Its battery warning alerts at 3 minutes 33 seconds. However, it continued to fly for a total flight time of 7 minutes 46 seconds. So it app battery warning seems to be wrong.

I still don't get why companies insist on having us use our phones I mean don't they know that phone usage for a drone is a pain in the butt and a lot of them don't work because of the wifi or Bluetooth signal. I wish companies would basically have a controller with all their drones you don't have to make them big you can make them small and the work just fine also for the price like I said it is it's not worth it and nobody's going to spend that kind of money on for three and a half minute flight time that is just beyond insane. Also another key point on why would anybody fly a drone this time of year anyway maybe in California it's warm but here in Pennsylvania it's only 13 degrees and tonight it's going down to -3 and then we got the big cold snap and maybe a major snow storm coming so you don't fly drones around here until spring if you're lucky and I don't see anybody buying them to be honest around any of this area or any of the Eastern counties or Eastern states because the weather is so cold I mean u can't

First go into your phone's WiFi settings. Then search for the drone's WiFi signal and connect to it, the same way that you would connect toy your home WiFi. Then open the app. Video and control functions should now be available in the app.

First connect to the drone's WiFi signal. You do this by turning on the drone, and then placing it on a flat level surface. Then open your phone's WiFi setting, and look for the drone's WiFi signal. Connect to this signal the same way that you would connect to home WiFi (no password needed). Then open the "AEE Zone" to view the drone's camera feed, and control the drone.

@@tianzhang1294 Don't even waste your time and money and use it towards a much better toy or hobby grade drone.. it's got 2 batteries in the package and only lasts 10 minutes of very lame low speed and unintuitive controls from your smart phone. it has a manually adjusted camera and weak motors that make me surprised it can even lol lift up off the ground lol.

@@tianzhang1294 oh yea, there are tons of them. But, I just need to know your max budget you're will pay and what you're more into doing with it. for instance, filming or exploration. Or whatever it may be and also need to know, what kind of mobile device you also plan on using with it. Just because most toy/hobby grade drones require a external device for FPV/Smart Flight modes, and sometimes to even fly the drone in general. So once I get all that from you then I can point you in the right direction and even set you up with a few links to ones that you could be interested in etc...

Last lol It didn't fly long enough to do much can you give us a total fully charged time please and is there any different speed modes Please? Wow a hundred fifty bucks and only get 3 minutes light signs that is ridiculously insanely not cool wow that is a short flight time holy gosh that is short. This thing is definitely not portable either you can tell but four hundred fifty bucks it should have at least 10 to 15 minutes flight time but for that price I don't think anybody's really going to buy this I mean really for 3 minutes and it cost $150 and it takes longer to charge it and it does to fly it yeah I think we're going to pass on this one no matter how good it flies
