What is it like flying in a smaller turbo prop compared to a jet? Is the ride or stability more uncomfortable or does the plane shake more?

Not much difference really. Just a smaller cabin.

It can be louder with more vibrations at times in general. But it depends. It happens to jets as well.

I'm surprised the dash flys to Istanbul I thought they used for the Islands few years ago I flew on the Airbus when I did the same route Athens to Istanbul

That's because the airbuses that operated the route are now part of the Aegean fleet flying to Europe and Olympic Air operates an all turboprop fleet of DHC 8 Q400s and a couple of ATRs bc Olympic is now subsidiary of Aegean Airlines

It was the quality of the roll I was calling out, not the size or type of food. If you look at the video the roll was dry with only a slice of cheese and no butter or anything else.

@@iFlyTheWorld I usually fly from Crete to Athens and they always use their A320, so it baffles me that they use dashes for an international trip. Either way those planes should be retired.

@@marcopolo2395 I think they're good planes for short trips under 2 hours. And fast. I think the turboprop still has its place in aviation. They're not comfortable but they do their job fair.

Konstantinoupoli (Κωνσταντινούπολη) my friend NOT istanbul. It is a Greek mega city of the hole world .The city took this name from the Emperor of Vizandium, Konstantino and his mother Eleni.

Dash on an international flight even at this distance is not a great thing for Aegean-Olympic I must say. Turkish fly the A330 or at least B738. Another great report though!

The aircraft is well worn because it belonged to Olympic Airways at one time. A pity it no longer exists.
