The cost of business class I think is a waste of money, I'm happy just to be on the plane in economy, the experience is just as good. I can get all the joys of business class/first class in a hotel for half the price and much longer
Americans call this domestic First Class. Obviously it's like domestic Business Class in most of the world or Premium Economy on some airlines and nothing like true First Class.
@iFlyTheWorld When you booked the ticket, you booked business class not First class. Also your ticket did not gave you access to United lounge. No American consider that business class. United 777 200 Business class which are lay flat seats, full access to United Polaris lounge and lounge access at your arrival at your destination and departure. United Polaris is the clostest United product to First class. I travel alot on United and will be flying this route to SXM in United Business class
Thanks for the update. It's been sad to see all the old Thai jets lined up at BKK since COVID. But the airline needed a sharp shock to turn its management around. I hope they have learnt their lesson from the past decade.
Never had a terrible experience while doing security at Newark Terminal A. Very quick and efficient service and took less than 3 minutes to do security.

Ich bin den Flug (Economy) vor wenigen Wochen hin und zurück geflogen und das vor Jahren auch mehrmals mit einem A380. Das Flugzeug ist gegen den Airbus wirklich laut und der Service und das Essen war auch wirklich nicht gut im Vergleich zu Thai Airways damals!
Hi Duane. The hard product was quite good 8/10 with everything clean and in good condition, the only missing element was IFE. The catering was 5/10 but as expected from a Chinese airline.
Please - no information about the plane etc…. It’s like if you step into a Taxi, this is a Mercedes/Audi/Toyota etc from 2020 - who cares ??? And I love all the travel-info that you and your travelling friends send - and please, the price of the flight is allways relevant… Otherwise it’s just another advertice…. Kind regards…
Hi Lars. I’m not sure how much information you are seeking about the plane. See 00:51 for the rego and first flight date. I didn’t pay cash for the flight as it was part of a multi flight booking for 99,000 MileagePlus points. Given that there are hundreds of airline flight combinations that might include this flight it’s really pointless quoting what I paid as any booking you might make would be different.
