It shows beautifully how complex he is. Not a villain who was born to be a killer, but a sullen boy who wanted what was denied of him and wanted to belong. ❤
I am surprised why many got surprised to see he burned Aegon? I don't support what Aemond did but I get it he has endured his rage and pain for looong time. The brothel scene was just the final straw. He had enough and finally snapped. Some people undermined it with the "only teasing between brothers". Wow imagine it came from the person who was supposed to be good role model to you but that person kept humiliating you, esp you and your sibling had been neglected by your father. Great acting by Ewan Mitchell. Great edit ❤
Because, he said he killed Luke on accident and is sorry for it, Luke who was also one of his bullies and the person who cut out his eye which is the worst of it all. Then he seemingly burns Aegon intentionally. It just doesn't add up and is just stupid writing once again on HBO's part. They should have just gotten George RR Martin back for season 2.
