Viserys ignoring Rhaenyra's carelessness of having bastard son after bastard son staining his legacy was his first mistake. Him not threatening her claim to the thrown after the first bastard and chastising her about it caused more turmoil than I think would have been if she didn't give birth to Strongs children. I just don't understand how she thought it would be ok.

I'm really interested in where the show takes Aemond. He started out pretty sympathetic; his brother and nephews making fun of him. He even looked like he was about to say something to Luc at the funeral, and he admonishes Aegon for being upset about Heleana. Now, through hard work and determination, he is the most dangerous man in Westeros. If the Greens had instead won, the story would portray him as a hero. Since the Blacks won, he is shown as a villain. Will definitely be interesting how the show decides to take it. The showdown with Daemon should have the viewers split on who they want to win.

Aemond isn't a Daemon wannabe, he just takes after him. Ppl acting like they never seen a kid take after their parent's sibling. They're also both second sons with a point to prove.

You know, Viserys wasn’t a terrible king. Problem was he wasn’t a very good father. The minute his daughter pushed out 2 bastards he should have pulled her to the side and just say “look you lost your claim, don’t try to fight it. I’ll wash this off as they from my blood but your penalty is the throne.” Done lol. Honestly the dance of dragons was the best thing to happen. Imagine if the Danasty ended up with 40+ dragons and 30+ age and body ready dragon riders. All of Westeros would have burned and a lot of those dragons would be huge growing unchecked for years

Fyi, at 0:47 you say “Prince Visery’s Targaryen was about as mad as his father, the Mad King, if not more.” The Mad King’s son, Visery’s, is not the same person as Viserys I Targaryen. His father was Baelon Targaryen, the Spring Prince, not the Mad King. These are two completely different character’s who lived 2 centuries apart from one another.

The line of throne succession should be decided by a competition among king candidates. From the history of westeros, it can be seen that there were multiple people who were solid candidates for the iron throne and the king sometime did not chose the capable heir for the throne. So there should be a competition among throne candidates so that throne candidates could not wage war in the realm for the throne.

I'm pretty sure Daeron is the baby. Not Aemond. Aemond is the second son. Love it or hate it, had he survived his dual with his Uncle Daemon, Aemond would no doubt have become King, but likely would've been remembered as one of the greatest King's n the history of Westeros. He is a perfect representation of what this universe considers to b worthy of the title. No contest. Daeron being the next closest. Never Aegon II. Had he not fallen at the Trident, much like Jaime Lannister, I believe his character arc would've changed by far for the better amongst us fans of this universe, much like Jaime. While Rhaenyra will become more and more despised, if not out right hated by the masses. I believe the disdain we will gain for Rhaenyra will, no doubt, b complete when we witness the fall of, who will become, if not already is the most beloved Dragon of the series, Syrax. When Syrax falls, I believe that will b the nail n the coffin, as for any support of the Black faction from us fans. Daemon and Ceraxes will have fallen by this point, along with Aemond One-Eye and his Dragon Rockstar, Vhaegar. I believe we will have more love for the Green faction by this point, and witnessing the fall of Rhaenyra will b bitter sweet when the time comes. Much like Cersei. That's just me. All speculation, of course. I am a true fan of this universe, however. So I'm pretty comfortable with my predictions. Considering the constant swaying of loyalty and allegiances of Got. I really don’t care about Aemond, there was countless times when he could have been a better Targaryen if not an interesting one. The only reason why people take interest in him was when he lost his eye but the moment he killed his nephew, nobody cared enough to call out the action.

Aegon the Younger is the rightful king, and it’s telling that he becomes such, George isn’t subverting expectations just for the sake of it, the culmination of the dance is that the wrongs of each side is paid for but that the rightful king still sits the throne. Aemond is perhaps the second most relevant/interesting war character behind Daemon, but he is still an asshole usurper who ultimately loses the first time he is ever faced with a true challenge. What will be interesting is whether or not they treat him as the true evil antagonist or a more “grey” bad guy, he’s obviously going to be portrayed as a villain but the scale will range from “super violent dick who has a point” to “Hitler on fire wings”, really looking forward to it. I personally hope they make him as shitty as possible while doing no favors for the blacks either, this type of war is not supposed to have definitive good and bad guys, I would like to think they understand this and have us siding with Rhaemon purely per Vizzy T’s word (what should be the first and final say!!!) and the fact they are slightly less awful human beings.
