Who is Breakbones - The Harwin Strong We Never Get To See in House of the Dragon Credit For The Amazing Artwork Used Inside The Video By Brilliant Artist! chillyravenart #houseofthedragon #houseofdragon #gameofthrones
I'm already pissed they skipped the part when Daemon kills the man betrothed to Laena in a duel. Instead of making Daemon more of a bad*ss, let's suggest he's bisexual 10 years later!! 🤣 "Daemon abandoned the Stepstones and flew to the Vale of Arryn to claim Runestone, which had been Rhea's seat, but he was refused by House Royce. Sent away from the Vale by Lady Jeyne Arryn, Daemon turned to Driftmark, where he laid eyes upon the enchanting Laena Velaryon, the daughter of his friend, Lord Corlys, and he asked the Sea Snake for her hand in marriage. Laena was already betrothed to the son of a late Sealord of Braavos, but Daemon killed the Braavosi with Dark Sister in a duel."
@@goodfella1234 I mean if at least one of them survived then he would say “I don’t want it” then passed it to the next in line, it would make sense since Jon snow in our current timeline always say he doesn’t want it 😂 😅 I mean I’m just sad that house strong was literally wiped out,
I am enjoying the show, but I don't understand why they are rushing again. This is such a rich and beautiful story. Why does HBO insist on rushing everything? Slow down! let us get to know and love the characters!!!
I know. It’s almost like they are scared to because the bulk of the stuff happens Aegon is an adult. But the way these books were written allows for them to add their own touch. Like with the whole Daemon, Rhaenyra, and Cole scandal. I think we could have gotten a full season with the young actresses. Oh well. Can’t say I’m not enjoying it though.
Wish people would understand that this isn’t rushing. They just want us to understand the backstories of the characters so they can tell the story they want to tell us: the dance of dragons! They don’t want to give us decades of NOTHINGNESS. People would get bored and stop watching. We’re about to get to the crux of the story and at that point, the time jumps stop.

@@peteramirez2158 It's just that we don't even get to love them at all before they die. I didn't feel much of anything when Laena and Harwin died. And Alicent's complete transformation into a villainous bitch was too jarring. I think one more episode with the young actresses would have helped.
Perhaps he will come back in the 2nd Season? I hear they are bringing back the younger Alicent & Rhaenyra...so why not Breakbones...this would be awesome!!
i found it somewhat frustrating that some of the characters ie Breakbones and the period jumps left a lot of things out and so we were left to figure out motives etc on our own...besides it's makes it more interesting ..

The jump in episode 6 is why I searched this video. I was confused on how the romantic relationship shifted from Cole to Strong; that and how everyone else aged except Cole on episode 6.
I would love to see him and Rhaenyra get to fall in love and the births of Jace and Luke and Joffrey along with his friendship with Leanor and Sir Qarl. And of course his interactions with his own family like his dad and a$$ brother along with stories of Harrenhall and other members of the Strong family.
in the book - Rhaenyra and Laenor had a wedding tourney. Criston rejected the "offer" of being Rhaenyra's lover beforehand. When the tourney happened - Rhaenyra decided to chose Harwin as her champion instead of Criston which made him so angry he went breaking Harwin's bones in a joust. He survived and was called Breakbones. Thats the start of Cole's outward hatred of Rhaenyra.. or so the books says. It is after all a collection of POV from many people with personal bias.
What I don’t understand is why make a series with so many time gaps when such significant events at play and from what I’ve heard there are only 4 seasons, like give us 6 or 7 with more of the story??
Jaime never told anyone specifically WHY he killed the Mad King. He didn't tell anyone about the caches of wildfire. Really Jaime should have been in the Night's Watch, but I think Tywin put a stop to that. Daenerys hadn't officially been crowned queen of the seven kingdoms at the time. Jon still got sent back to the Wall though. Jon could still be labelled "kinslayer" though.
@@psychedelicpegasus7587 - anyone who kills a relative, no matter the reason, could be labeled a 'kinslayer.' So what? I was specifically referring to their REASON for killing the King and the would-be Queen.
The use of the phrase, ‘claiming her maiden head’ grosses me out and is disgusting in its suggestion that he ‘took’ something and she was a helpless victim.
It's gross yes. It's historical usage that is being used to make a point. In some times historically and in Westeros, a woman's sexuality and fertility are possessions belonging to her father then her husband. It's misogynic and wrong today, normal at other times. Wrapped in the phrase is that her virginity is a gift from her father to her future husband ensuring that the woman will give true born sons. That she isn't pregnant already. That the woman sleeping with someone before marriage is theft from her father & future husband despite the woman's wishes. Please know that I do not endorse this viewpoint. I am explaining the fictional and historical context of the phrase
@@BillyBasd Even historically it's an exaggeration. Anglo Saxon law and the church stressed the consent of a woman's hand in marriage. Barring royalty, you were not actually required to be a virgin in marriage, as most young brides were already knocked up by their husband to be.
Why do all series have to be so short these days? I miss story development, I miss character arcs, I miss shows being 20 episodes long😢 Their used to be time.
While he was about to be enveloped in flames, he tried and got crushed by falling debris During a fire of that capacity the door would have been severely hot to the touch. So he admirably tried but I wish he would have lived to come back and fck up sHt.

The time skips are ruining the series. Introduce character, killed immediately. So tension building, no getting to know and like or hate a character makes their deaths almost meaningless and devoid of any emotional heft. Shit writing but its par for the course at this point.
still surprised she's actually a lesbian, That acting with Harwin about to leave them is amazing. Good Artists with real acting ability is very rare nowadays. Even the awards winners today are sus - LOL
Ok I just saw episode 7 and I’m not a book reader so I am pissed about how R is “mourning” Harwin. I was rooting for her character but not after she sent her boys to bed so she could get wet on the beach. I know I know I need to chill. It’s just a show Lol
Secret Lover? Only person Westeros who may be blind to reality is Viserys, and I'm sure even he just doesn't care but he knows. This was no Secret, and I'm glad Alicent made that point well aware... like seriously, what was Rhaenyra thinking? 😅 Wants to be the future Queen bit doing dumb stuff like birthing not one, not two, but THREE Bastards. Come on now, your oh-so-important position is already met with questions and resistance well before even Alicent started to worry about it herself, and THIS is what Rhaenyra does? I don't blame Alicent, I wouldn't have taken Rhaenyra's offer of marriage to her bastard kids either.
It may not be rational or justified, though people in the Seven Kingdoms have massive paranoia about bastards and view them as naturally treacherous, so you're right in that Alicent's rejection of the proposal was completely expected and justified in her eyes. Imagine Catelyn accepting a betrothal of Jon and Sansa. It would never happen.
@@blabla187 lol love it when people assume to know how I feel. I never took offence...if anything just tired of the same tropes over and over and disappointed that good works of fiction/fantasy keep on getting taken over by peoples real life political agenda. Also nothing was made up. It is a fact. I was almost not gonna bother with a reply as a constructive dialogue with ppl like you is nearly impossible but ya need to wake up buddy.
He can't be that strong............no proof (not enough screen time nor chemistry of relationship) A burning room with a wooden door is definitely his weakness
This show is not very good. Now, that we’ve all gotten over the shock of how bad GoT Season 8 was. Rewatch the first few seasons and see how good it was. HoD pales in comparison. Characters that aren’t very good, boring dialogue, ugly actors, race swapping for the heck of it. It’s better than Rings of Power, but isn’t close to Game of Thrones.
