In this video I go over the my 2nd version of the AER9 LASER RIFLE from Fallout 3 & New Vegas. This was one hell of project. A lot of silicone moulds and many buckets of resin later we have a fully castable version of the rifle. No MDF wood, No Foam, just Resin, a metal bar and nicely weathered paint job.

Stop saying you tried youre best to make it as accurate.....Because this shit is da bomb I could barely tell the diference man congrats on doing that man. Hopeful this stuff gets you alot further in life I say you should open a buisness on this stuff. That is defenitly the most accurate one I have seen on youtube.

Great job!! I am really curious as to how you scaled the prop and got in the detail because I would want a Red Glare or shoulder mounted machine gun prop, but I wouldn't know where to start and how exactly I'd do that. any tutorials in scaling, designing drawings, and getting detail from the game into a prop?

So I was considering joining some of my friends in their yearly post-apocalyptic LARPS and I'm wondering - would it be possible to build a prop like this around a air-soft P90 ? It has a long barrel already, build around it, replace the round batter prop with the P90 magazine painted to look like those long strips of batteries and perhaps mount some laser pointers into the barrel so it looks like you're shooting beams.

im. currently making a laser rifle.. but. my "cosplay" sona is the Survivor. so i make the weapons look... like they where put together. from scrap... its way more fun to put your own spin on it... but do to finances. i used trash material for the stock... and its falling apart currently..

TheLmao555 it's certainly doable, but right now I don't have the time, I've a few more projects in the pipeline so it's finding the time.

I used a mixture of foam board, pepakura, resin and bondo to create the original base. The detailing was done over a number of months to make sure I got every detail right before I created the mold around it.

I was wondering how much it would cost me for you to build a fallout 50cal sniper that does break apart (barrel screws off) but with hardly as much detail as this rifle just the same in game size and colours?

It's too similar to an actual gun so I don't see the point in building one from scratch, plus I like to get my teeth into detail stuff so something with not much detail doesn't motivate me very much. Thank you for the question though.
