Scaring birds away from airports is a huge challenge. A Canadian company is doing it with a robotic Peregrine Falcon called the Robird. They showed the drone at AUVSI Xponential in Dallas. AVweb shot this video on the new product.
imagine making it fly automatically and making it be able to land at its charging station when its on low power to simulate the bird resting. that would be awesome and I imagine there would be people who would buy this thing to get rid of birds in parking areas to prevent being pooped on.
Wow. I'm sure the military is gonna jump all over this - talk about stealth application! The potential to fly this into areas of interest from the perspective of operation logistics is incredible! That thing is indiscernible from a real bird - it looks like the real thing when it's operating!
Aizaz Khan moron. We Indians r capable of sending drone to Mars. We make satellites and send in space in record cost and time. Even foreign countries employ Indian engineers and doctors. Every Mnc Ceo is an Indian. Who knows this bird idea was also stolen from an Indian engineer by a foreigner. We Indians r way above ur thought process. So u never mind. And stop typing on RU-vid. Back to ur madarssa. Ratte maro jake wha pe hil hil ke. Q ki arabi tumhe smjh ati nhi pr yad bhi krni hai hil hil ke.
I saw this on Good Morning America earlier today. Wow modern technology has sure come a long ass way huh? From robotics that look as real as we humans to military robotics that can do some of the most amazing things we have not ever imagined them doing. It just keeps on getting more and more fascinating.
Hi, This DRONE was used in the Indian movie called: URI the surgical strikes. In the movie it's shown that the bird is a prototype DRONE made by Indian scientist and is named as: Garuda { name of the DRONE }.
Things like this takes years to produce. If its available now then they are might be already have the concept from 5 to 10 years ago. And tbh, animal spy robot is already common. You can also see it on manga so many times.
Damn Google works in creepy ways i bet a majority of them got this in their recommendations after watching the movie , Google spies more efficiently than you give it credit for
@@BeardedWolfKing It's the sport of Falconry I engage in. I don't hunt peregrine falcons, I hunt with them. I let them loose and help them pursue quarry, retrieve them to hunt the next day.
Outstanding - now for some AI driven ornithopter drones with a home base limit & charge available auto return. Add in an automated base station (charging/launch facility) with simple control intercept & corresponding AI initiated aggressive behavior (collision avoiding); mix in a base station ability to conduct simple bird flock detection so ground control intercept commands can be made to command launched Ornithopter drones Put this all in a tow to location semi-tractor trailer configuration and you can make some real money at multiple airport locations worldwide.
@@jamesordwayultralightpilot Exactly! So annoying when people just mashup language so it's less useful!! E.G. when people say innovation when they mean invention!
Soon soldier's across the world are gonna shoot at every bird they see, thinking it might be an enemy drone. We should give this guy a medal for single handedly making a few birds go extinct in some places on the planet during a conflict in the future. Well done m8 👍-up.
@@thatdutchguy2882 Last I checked, all superpowers with nuclear arsenals have constrained themselves from going into full fledged war between themselves. India and Pakistan would have shredded each other by this point. Cold war would have gone hot. Korean peninsula would have been a constant warzone. Also, getting rid of Nukes have done wonders to Ukraine, right?
W😮w‼️This is so amazingly COOL‼️✔️💯🎯I would❤to have something like this to fly around. It's so much more visually appealing than a basic noisy & boxy drone‼️My hats off to three designers and creators. I can only imagine what they've come up with now (2024)...6 yrs later‼️
@Aditya Bisht You really think movie has 100% ditto elements ? No. This is not how any real event movie is made. Otherwise it would've been a documentary. Even Hollywood shows such inaccurate things. But its fine until the main plot is not deviated
@Aditya Bisht I've came to know that, there was a specific kind of Drone designed for the mission. But due to secrecy it's not revealed how it looked like. So, they used this drone instead. Due to secrecy, many other matters have been altered.
@Damnit Bobby thanks bro. For your such intense contribute. Every dislike gives 1000$ to poor people around world. Every Like gives ₹70,000 to poor people. 😇🙏 Amen
Akhtar Parvez beta bheekh maang maang k desh chal raha hai kisi tarah tumhara aur baate badi badi haakne aate ho... Kabhi terrorism failane se time milega to zara Google kar lio kitni baar li hai indian army ne tumhari.. Aur surgical Strike k bhi bare me pata chal jayega wahi se
The military needs to get their hands on this. Modify it for reconnaissance. No drone, very little noise, and blends in almost entirely, with nature. Fools the enemy. If they haven't considered this, or something like it, I'd be shocked.. Fascinating invention..
just watched uri on my tv. and i am not signed in with google account on my tv still this is in my recommendations wtf is happening😨😨😨😨😨 i think google is hearing everything with mic in mobile phone. it must have listened to dialogues from the movie and recommend me this video. this is creepy AF😶😶😶😶
