Nicely done. Noticed your cameras from a post about David Burnett using one. Nice accessory for journos using the camera would be a Grafmatic back. I had them with my Speed Graphic.

The two models of the Graflex are marvelous beautiful Cameras, I see that many modifications and improvements are added to the both Cameras, plus Kodak Ektar lens, and automatic roll film back. I like the box design of these Cameras, and the marvelous focal plan shutter, plus rotating film back, the whole features of Graflex Cameras reflects the real art of a practical photography, inspite contemporary digital photography and its easy performance and image acutance, I prefer film Camera and traditional photography. Thanks so much for your awesome explanation in details, hoping another fabulous classic Cameras, once again Many Thanks.

John, I don't understand and you don't explain why your cameras don't have higher speeds like originally ? The shutter is in the same spot and if you can shoot the speeds you have, why not higher speeds ? Confused ! I have to call you soon for some advice before I dig into my RB Series B 2x3. It has a mirror that's lost it's silver and the fractional numbers don't match the shutter slot positions. My Series B 3x4 was fully wound in the opposite of correct direction and won't move in the right direction on the shutter slot adjustment. I'm sure it's fixable, but..... I also have a perfectly working RB Super D (stock) and an RB Series B 2x3 that I just got that's also working great. I modified 6x7 and 6x9 backs from Graphic to Graflex, and learned some things doing it. One, you don't have to grind of the hill closest to outer edge ! I now use small 2 " sanding discs to grind off the hill and to smooth it all out, and a Dremel with a thin stone wheel to cut slot. Seems to work perfect. I plan on calling you soon for some help please. Thanks, LarryMac

when in the day 's ,, 1940's they did not have digital shutter speed testers, #2. the springs slow down in time ,,,, these are the real speeds,,, and no the marked speeds never hit the marked times,, some may refuse the reality ,, peace and film thanks
