AEROSMITH - DREAM ON REACTION (first time hearing) 

Aerosmith won a battle of the bands with this song which launched their career. One of the other bands they beat was a band called Mad Angelm from Worcester Massachusetts. In 1976 my mother remarried James Caputo who lived on the second floor of a double-decker house. The family of Joe D'Angelo a guitarist from Mad Angel lived on the first floor. Steven Tyler asked Joe D'Angelo to join Aerosmith, but he turned down the offer to stay with Mad Angel. Mad Angel put out some really good songs but did not make the big time and broke up a few years later. Jimmy D'Angelo, Joe's brother and fellow guitarist formed a new band called August. They put out one single called Single Man, but that was it for them. In the early 80s, Joe D'Angelo became my guitar teacher. I wrote a bunch of lyrics and brought them into my learning sessions and we recorded a bunch of songs that he did most of the singing and major guitar work, but I contributed as well. I still have a bunch of those songs on cassette tapes and still have ambitions to get them out to the world.

No, my face at the start was more of me being very impressed cos I had just watched the live video of the song but because the audio of that wasn’t so clear, then I decided to give a listen to the official audio. I still really doubt I have heard any full song from Eminem by the way.😄
