This song has a huge place in my heart. I remember getting out of the water surfing in Ventura California, and walking to the truck where my wife was sitting in the back of the bed Sun tanning. I took my wetsuit off and hopped in laying in the back of that truck watching the surf when the song came on. The sun was getting close to setting. Something about this song and the timing of it couldn't have been any better. Laying there in the late sunlight, next to my beautiful wife with my arm around her just looking at the waves. One of those moments that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Love it.

Days of Future Passed was a timeless, groundbreaking album. From 1967 on the Decca label, it was the first true stereo album and no other group or artist from the time could have been better for it than the Moody Blues. It is depressing to think that this came out 55 years ago because it makes me feel old for remembering hearing it for the first time. A new genre of music that would become known as progressive rock, among other names. I fell in love with the Moody Blues when I heard this and my love of their music is as great today as it was then. It is nice to see new generations discovering and appreciating their work. The joy and awe of the Moody Blues will continue for generations to come.

I'm so impressed with you, that besides 2 small comments, you stayed quiet & took in the music listening to the whole song & loved your facial expressions, your eyes just lit up while certain sections got to you. Your the 1st reactioner that actually listened to the music before commenting on it. So enjoyed watching your eyes light up while listening to this amazing song that was released in the 70's, it's always been an impressive song with amazing music !

You should get the original album on vinyl and listen from front to back. Wonderful songs flowing one to another and poetry to die for. My wife and I still have our copy. This is just one of the songs of the album. I love watching you younger kids discovering that the older generation isn't as moldy and cobwebbed as you think. We kicked butt ourselves, and paved the way for the kids today. Hey, I guess I'm a poet and just didn't know it. ;)

This song was released on 'Days of Future Passed' in 1968-1969, but received airplay it seems ever since. I worked for a metro NYC AM station that was popular, and we were playing it in rotation as both a 45 (shorter version) and on the album back in 1972. It has remained popular and still sells CDs (dare I say LPs?) even today! Mark Shannon

I am so pleased that you are reviewing this classic song and band. This song was very BIG for the Moody Blues in America. At around 2:19 take notes on the line -"Some tell me thoughts they cannot defend. What you want to be, you want to be, you will be in the end... Great lines.... The ending is so powerful & moving!!!......... I am tickled pink that you loved this.... My generation had so much great music. Make a note that ALL Moody Blues Music is very good.... All of it.

This song brings back so many memories, Morenkeiji as I grew up in that 1960s era. I might have said so before in the comments' section of another vid on your channel, but I'll repeat it again. I simply love the fact that you usually let a song play through entirely without stopping so many times to immediately give your reaction, unnecessarily interrupting the flow of the song. Other channel owners doing the same thing that you do Morenkeiji I find so annoying to watch as they constantly pause the song every minute or so as, for some reason, they just cant wait until the entire song has completed before providing their comments. Frankly, I find your channel the best! Please don't stop what you're doing, and how you go about filming your vids. Other channel owners can learn from you as your subscriber list says it all!
