The wooden wall paneling is GENIUS! It's so beautiful, the lines add texture and depth, and the functional aspect of the noise dampening foam behind is so clever. Thanks for the inspo and great job on the renovation!
As a fellow M1 Mac/PC user, I found using a USB C hub works the best for me. Mac has a Type C -> DP adapter with DP to the monitor. unplug the cable from adapter, and plug directly to GPU. My mobo has a type C, so the hub has all the peripherals. Same with the DP cable, unplug from Macbook, plug into mobo. Not super efficient, but works
I haven't finished watching it yet but YES to the Meshlicious PC case! I'm glad it's getting more attention. I have the same case and will be doing the same in terms of cable management soon
Let me tell you something you don't know. A air gap BEHIND a panel/wall amplifies the noise. It creates a resonance room. It is a good thermal insolation but bad for sound.
Beautiful setup, mate. I love the wall panels and it goes perfect with those wooden nanoleaf panels. I think once you upgrade your PC, you'll have an amazing classy gaming setup.
They do look amazing haha! You could install them with a brad nailer, only leaving tiny holes in the sheetrock. That's what we did in our living room (video coming soon! 😅)
AMAZING work!! i have an opinion and correct me if i am wrong: may be you could opt for a black or white or white glass table top to give more contrast to a dark theme i guess
Hello, I think you would benefit from a keychron K3 keyboard! I'm also into aesthetic setups and I bought it for myself. It's a mechanical keyboard, bluetooth/wired just like your current one, with the exception of being mechanical, clean and low profile! They offer other keyboard designs too! You should check them out... I feel like it's the only thing that is missing in that lovely setup :)
Very nice! Though the recyclability of those slat-composite thingys seems doubious.... Is this the same room from the March Video? ("My DREAM Desk Setup | Home Office Tour")
Nice video! The wood panel wall looks great. However, it could be very distracting working in front of a wall with lots of vertical lines or geometry pattern. We had a similar wall like that at a studio I used to work here in montreal. We end up adding a giant plain panel on top of the wall. Otherwise, most of us had dizziness or headaches and the end of the day. I really like your channel with all the design changes.
How do you connect your Macbook to the monitor though? You're probably using an external thunderbolt dock, right? Anyways, nice setup, simple and clean as always. Love the look of the wall panels especially, gives the whole setup such a nice backdrop!
@@minimalistik You're welcome! Which dock do you use and how do you like it? I'm currently looking for a new monitor and it's either 60hz with full thunderbolt/usb-c docking station capabilities OR 120+Hz. And I would like to have both if possible...
I moved to a new place ~8 months ago so I do have a few rooms I wanted to renovate, these are 2 different areas of the house for different purposes (full-time work vs gaming & youtube). Given my hobbies and work, it makes sense to have multiple desk setups! :)
