I step outside, the sky above gray as slate
The sweet scent of rain on the pavement,
And the wildflower blooms,
Everywhere greenery I see,
Petrichor seeping up through the grass,
Engulfing my state of mind as I inhale,
It made me lost in its presence,
I wished I stayed there forever.
