This game has a unique combat system brought from the beginnings of honkai stages but those designs really are something to criticize , like how the MC looks like Amiya or a character looks like a bootleg Luna , also the aesthetics...anyway not a main game for me but as soon global drops i'll be playing 🙃

Yes very promising game. It's funny how people keep pointing out how it is so similar to PGR and Honkai, while in close introspection the thing they share is just the genre. AG has taken inspiration from HI and PGR for sure but they deviated from those inspo enough to make itself unique. Saying AG "stole" from Honkai is literally the same shit people gave PGR at launch and HI themselves took very heavy inspiration from DMC, you built stuff on a framework that has proven to succeed is how a genre is formed. Their matrix last way longer than PGR, and the method of activating the matrix here is completely different. And to mind you this game has more buttons, yes I know it sounds like I'm grasping at straws, but mind you more buttons mean a completely character design framework, and every character so far in the game is so unique from each other it is so refreshing. Honkai is having a problem where there is only so much they could cramp onto their limited buttons number to the point the chakram characters just took over the weapon active slots as a combo button now. And AG's rune system to determined the playstyle? Gosh that is good. l could focus on Tyr's chess piece spam for consistent dps or choose to focus on his Layout Game burst damage. Kagutsuchi red and blue runes has significantly different combo strings. Until now I still now sure how Tsukoyomi works. And character design wise if you boils down the character to their simplest key design factors like hair color and eyes colors then you are bound to find similarity in a lot of character design. Because let be honest, white hair twin tail anime girl and white hair red eyes anime guys are hardly groundbreaking tropes. Like no one gave Bapipe in Arknights any shit about how she "literally" is Kiryu Coco. Give the game some times ya'll, bet on it a little.

Boss is definitely Yone from League, also does all attacks have a wind up signal/animation? For a sword battle it feels slow. But nevertheless it looks good.
