Randomly saw this video and almost cried because now I can no longer kill any of the emblem Ikes (especially at high merges) with my Shinon alone anymore as I have fully upgraded him and so this miracle build won't work at max investment... Gah, what a bummer, I put so much premium fodder on him and now he can't even kill a plus 1, ascended floret Ike. Seems like I got the canon Shinon to the story of being trapped in Ikes shadow.
I came up with the exact same build for Shinon! He works wonders against Ike, literally best counter. Although I use him at lvl 40 with a superbane in def, cause he really kills Ike in every scenario, he doesnt really need to be level 1 and that way he can kill other things
@@infantrypulse what I do so its consistent is not giving him a blessing so he doesnt get mythic bonuses to his HP. That and the superbane in def works wonders for me, but yeah he would lose some matchups if hes correctly blessed and merged. But It doesnt matter anyway the point is having another nuke like Celica that can take care of the rest
@@bobthehoboiscool Thats very true, yes, but if it works you have nothing to be afraid 😎, its like using Freyr in dark season, sometimes you have to do what you have to do to secure wins
@@infantrypulse This is actually genius. I'm using F! Ursula with Brash Assault + Fatal Smoke on my defense and I can still tank her with Ike (it takes more support than most people usually bring though). It never would have crossed my mind to use a level 1 to get the def to 0...
I tried building a team with as much warping as I could, with Celica, her engage, B!Robin, A! Micaiah....but ran out of slots and it just didn't have enough reach or defensive power. If someone did any type of Galeforce it fell apart. It was a fun idea though.
Holy sack plays batman! Imagine being the guy with 22 merges and still have to resort to that to get through the week... that or being petty enough, jeez...
@@infantrypulse Ah, I'm finding that Ike is able to tank Celica happily with Veyle support, with no special on 1st hit and massive dmg reduction on 2nd hit :(
Not at all-Myrrh had over 87% DR on the reflection proc. Ike, by contrast, had only 10% DR (plus the true DR from Laguz Friend). Ike also deals far more damage, so Shinon has more damage to reflect.
A similar strat was also done for Nix (but required Ymir for soft-Miracle support). Was a fun thing to watch, but Fatal Smoke 4 ultimately shuts these strats down.
