@@bladecast Buddy, you are in the wrong place or you have been taught wrongly if you think a promo is good based on it's realism. Yes, Eddie shouting and cutting Moxley while the latter is cutting his lines are a great factor, and yeah-who doesn't love realism when it's "fake entertainment". But promos are not based on that, period 😉 One more thing, you actually do the opposite of validating yourself if you need to claim "period, no debate", I cannot begin to emphasize how weak you make yourself look.

They really made this feud feel deserving of that I Quit main event match at Full Gear. For a last minute feud they've built it great, Mox and Kingston are gold

I have to admit, THIS is the fire that FTR and Young Bucks need to light their feud further. I know FTR can dish it but both teams haven't been delivering it. Sure, they provided a different style to build their feud but that fire capped off too soon. They NEED to bring that intensity of "I am number #1", and if it cannot be delivered well in a live show then bring it in pre-recorded videos via interviews and so on. Perhaps, if Eddie or Cody were the director/s behind the scenes to bring fire to their feud that would be great for both teams. After all, no gripe to either team, a person thinking from a "third person" perspective always think more logical and creative than the one that is thinking from a first-person.

Moxley loved, and I think he still does, going back to his roots. It's where he always felt alive and AEW thankfully gave him that. That freedom, fresh air, and energy. I was so glad that he's glad that he got cut off of the chains from the torture working in the "other" company. Otherwise, Jon wouldn't have been able to get the freedom and help he needed. Get well soon man!

For example, Cena vs Punk didn't have any of the stuff that the Bucks or Lucha Bros do but it had storytelling all over it, before and through the match. Storytelling makes simple matches fun and even more exciting than a match with a lot of crazy maneuvers and flips but without a storyline.

That’s unfortunate. He did some great stuff on the indies. I remember him going up against LAX (Santana and Ortiz) with the old LAX (Homicide and Hernandez) in impact back when they had their little resurgence. That was awesome. It was like the old vs new midnight express feud back in the 80s except a lot more violent. Check that feud out if you have the time. It will totally be worth it dude

They need to let Kingston win by beating Mox until he needs a stretcher, then have Kingston go on a 3-6 month run as a kingpin, just the most violent champion

@@9jchrist1 Yo in my opinion if AEW doesn't want to become to predictable make him beat Moxly with a hidden weapon, like a brass knuckles where he just keeps hitting Mox until Mox face is all blood, and he doesn't ask him if he quits and the medics come in to take Mox who should black out and they should announce he has broken ribs, and they don't know when he will be returning. Then give Kingston 3-6 months holding the Tittle, where he becomes like a Kingpin, where he can't be touched and when he defends his title always a no DQ. In I would say 2 months make him get paranoid that someone is after him, trying to hurt him, and he starts getting more violent, and eventually loses most of his faction and it turns out in 4 months it was Mox who has been sending him messages of violence like a replicate of his head to his mom. And make Mox show up as a camera man or a fake cop to attack Kingston and have a crazy brawl where Mox injures Kingston to where he is in a Wheel chair so they make an interim Belt until he heals up. So for another 2 months Kingston is still Champion and causing a lot of problems, then at the next Full Gear have him defend the Belt in a Fatal Five Way No DQ, KINGSTON, MOX, , MJF, OMEGA, LANCE FOR THE BELT

But imo i think that if aew does go into giving kingston the belt, kenny is gonna take it off from him at probably revolution. I wouldn’t be mad at either option. I just hope PAC doesn’t come back and cost eddie the match I hope if pac does come back, he helps eddie beat mox’s ass leaving everyone shocked. Then next dynamite pac comes back acting all buddy buddy with kingston just to beat him up. Maybe go into a promo talking about how eddie broke up the triangle and says he challenges him to a match at revolution saying this time he’ll take his family and the belt, leaving kingston alone and maybe comes with a face turn after he loses.

I would love to see this be the beginning of an arc for Eddie's character. I love this character for him, him being this machiavellian heel, knowing the underhanded stuff he is doing is wrong, and hating himself for it. I'd love to see this be a starting place, where he evolves over time into this badass anti hero. And maybe Mox helps him along the way, to turn himself around, and eventually he can do a redemption arc that ultimately leads to him earning the world title down the line, as a better man.

@@holdthetruthhostage As much as I love Kingston and dislike Moxley, I don't think thats the right play. I either see him not winning the title until he becomes a babyface as the pinnacle of his redemption arc, or if he does win it as a heel someday, doing a run as a kingpin style character, burning everybody until he goes out like a gangster in a blaze of glory, which would then start his redemption arc, where he sorta sees the error in his ways when he loses the title the first time, then works his way back up to it. But I don't think thats in the cards for Eddie right now, I think the title is gonna be for Omega and Hangman for now. Once their entire story plays out, thats when Kingpin Eddie should strike. Eddie is one of those unique villains, one that if the circumstances were different you would want to like. You even see the potential good in him, and want to see him embrace it.

I've watched this 5 times in a row now and this is right up there with the best back and forth promos I've ever seen. Both guys crushed it and made it very believable. The emotion from both men was right up there with Paul Heyman giving it to Vince. It's impressive when one guy can get that but for both to be neck and neck like Eddie and Mox did is impressive to say the least. Full Gear is stacked.

2 guys that come up doing deathmatches and wrestling on the indies for years before 1 gets given the shot of a life time and the other stays on the indies. Jon then leaves after years of success to go somewhere he can be himself again and now after all these years they are crossing paths again only this time it's on PPV in the Main Event for the AEW World Title. The story has legit written itself and the fact they are so good on the mic just makes it even better.

If that hapens, you do it on Dynamite. You don't ruin your PPV main event with that. Mox wins, Kingston says I Quit, the family turns on him, beats him down, Pac emerges as their new leader, and Mox comes in for the save. Kingston starts his babyface run.

this is one of the greatest promos ever. the emotions, the things they say, the delivery, everything is just on point. it's the kind of promo that makes you forget for second that this is scripted. it's the type of promo that makes you think that this is real. i hope people in 20 years will talk about this the same way we talk about the likes of austin 3:16, etc
