Bournemouth won possession 12 times in nufc half. Highest in the PL. It shows how nufc were rubbish playing out. Need to improve as we also saw this 1st game at home.
Yes, we must improve if we have to get some sort of European football. The changes made a difference. But, that is not enough to face stronger teams. Hope Eddie can do get the team to perform better in the next game. Tonali is back, too. So really looking forward to next week game.

Newcastle fan here. We were terrible Bournemouth played really well it was a goal for me what they scored var again needs scrapping . As for longstaff he needs dropping he adds unnecessary pressure to the midfield and defence he simply ain’t good enough we looked way better with willock on instead of him can’t wait for tonali to come back . Newcastle didn't seem at it, thought it was a hand ball because his arm was across the Newcastle player but I hadn't heard the change to the law that the shirt arm is the cutoff so technically it's a bad decision

I lost count of how many times Joelinton gave the ball away. There were many bad performances but the passing the ball out from the back was woeful and Nick Popes distribution was rubbish. Hopefully Tonali's return will spice things up.

Awful from krafth and tino for their goal. (Tino not doing anything to stop the cross yet again) and we nearly lost in the last min of the game. Murphy is meant to have improved n sharp but he’s not, Kelly looked out of sorts, Isak got lost yet again and kept walking around, JOELINTON doesn’t seem to be getting to grips with what he needs to do yet and Gordan is NOT on it quite yet. Miggy May as well not play seems to have lost himself. Positives: Schar to come back, Kieran to start hopefully soon, possibly a new signing although doubtful, tonali to slot in somewhere, Wilson to get match fit, soooo yeah…. We have 4 points and play @ home next league game. But we also have forest away, wolves and Fulham away then Man City lol 😂
I think Ben Mitchell is more suited than the dunce in charge of transfers but then again new players wouldn’t fix the abysmal football we are playing. Poor performance, Bad under pressure. Couldn't pass properly. Our midfield control was shocking. Bruno working hard as always but Joe Linton got robbed constantly and Longstaff is about as useful as wet tissue paper.
The insufficient part of Newcastle is the midfield. 37 - 39 - 7 were technical and tactical inferior to the Bournemouth midfield. Slow and selfish, ignoering obvous passing possibilities, as they run arounhd with the ball for themselves. Soccer is a TEAM play - not what a personal show-off like specially Nr. 39 thinks. The second half rally is too late, do not put yourself in that position, I thought last week was an example, I guess it takes you lot a while to process lessons.
