Depth Charts have changed thanks to a new crop of rookies from the NFL Draft. In this video we evaluate how those rookies will impact the teams and which ones you should be targeting in your fantasy football leagues.
Patrick Mahomes got a new weapon in Xavier Worthy. He may have also secured the successor to Travis Kelce. Tight End Jared Wiley has a lot of upside and a lot to learn from his all pro teammate. The Chiefs defense also found a hard hitting safety in Jaden Hicks.
The Raiders pulled one of the bigger surprises in the 1st round by snagging tight end Brock Bowers. It didn’t seem likely with 2nd round pick Michael Mayer only a year removed from his own draft. He should pair nicely with late round steal Dylan Laube, who should complement Zamir White moving forward in the running game.
The Broncos are starting over at quarterback. This time Sean Payton chose his guy in Bo Nix. They even grabbed his college teammate with wide receiver Troy Franklin. Audric Estimé was one the biggest and best running backs in the draft but he slid a bit due to some slow testing metrics. He’ll have a chance to compete in Denver. They also drafted a quality linebacker in Jonah Elliss.
The Chargers triple dipped in the wide receiver well bringing in Ladd McConkey, Brenden Rice, and Cornelius Johnson. They may have also stolen a starter in the late rounds with running back Kimani Vidal out of Troy. They also took a Harbaugh Michigan guy with linebacker Junior Colson.
