Went on a trip to Europe in my small caravan the Eriba 430GT and bought this Aferiy 2000 watt PowerStation to help me when I was off grid or on a site with only 6 amp EHU.

does anyone know why aferiy 2000 reduced the DC output from 12v 25amp to 12v 10amp

Thanks for that straightforward no nonsense review, Im so interested in buying one of these as the price is right,I have both a camper van and a caravan, so just might justify getting one

They are good buy and I think hard to beat at the moment ,but like all electrical goods give it a few months and something better will probably turn up.

Do you have to use the Aferiy sold solar panels or can you use any solar panels ( as long as it has the right connector ). Thank you.

I’ve just got one…..on testing with solar setup, I noticed that the panels discharge the unit when it’s dark….do you disconnect yours after charging? Or do you put another controller in between the panels and the Aferiy? Also I noticed the standby power is quite high….lost 3% in 2.5 hours.

I have a controller that detects when its fully charged and shuts off the solar power , my standby power does not lose that much you may have a problem but to be sure I will check it again.

Checked mine for standby power and mine reads 99% after 16 hours so I think you have a tiny little drain somewhere.
