This movie is not a masterwork for sure, but thanks to Rita Hayworth's presence and two dancing numbers it's still a pleasure to watch. The lady is beyond compare. Thanks for posting this. An admirer from Switzerland.
Lol plastic surgery has been around for about a century Rita much like Marilyn got plastic surgery she was also encouraged to anglify her look to look less "Mediterranean" eg ethnic
I have ALWAYS loved this dance and the dress and the hair and the woman. On my. To have a body like that. This is one of my favorite movies. Thanks so much for the clip.
I think this is my favorite number of her solo performances (loved her dances with Fred Astaire in other movies). This is my favorite because I love her dress, her hair, and the look on Glenn Ford's face. I try to overlook the edited shots cut from various takes, noticeable by her hair - sometimes she shakes it wildly and the next shot it's perfectly in place. Great performance by the lovely Rita.
I'm so glad that it's coming out on region 1 DVD soon, as is Rita and Glenn's first movie, "The Lady In Question" - I have them on video but DVD is always better!
Tell me about it! I had been searching for this film for years, only to discover it by chance whilst scanning through some dvds (bloody thing was filed incorrectly! ) at a local shop I frequent. Needless to say, I nearly died from shock and incessant joy.
This is a great song too, perfect medley of lyrics, voice, and jazzy bump and grind. My sister listens to it sometimes while she's getting ready to go out. Helps her put on her "maneater" face.

i thought i have been pretty smart as a film buff. i have known of rita as the WWII pin-up, a incredible face, her sad shoplifting days...etc... but i have never seen so much of her as recently on KTLA's new channels...antenna tv. and man-o-man, i just saw her doe this dance number at 2am...and in that incredible dress. she sure the hell was a one-of-a-kind.....what a huge star she was. ...wow-wow-wow.
@iluvmrman1118 I have the full movie on my laptop. I could send it for you...but it'll take forever lol..It's one of the rarest movies to find.....AMAZING THOUGH!
