nice video, i'm painting my own car here in germany and i have noone to teach me, i just bought some stuff and started painting in my garage :D i know its not comparable to your work at all but i love painting and additionally i can literally see what i learned and improved. So big thanks to you, i tried your "style" and it turned out great. my last clear coats have been a bit whacky (but no pressure, i have time to learn), i had to polish them to not feel rough. i think i feared adding too much paint and make the paint "run" (like drops idk.the english word) so i added too less... i hope i will be as good as you sometimes and will watch your videos just for fun except to learn.

Nice job. Your base system seems very slow and long-winded. With Cromax Pro or similar the base is complete in one visit - a medium coat followed immediately by a control coat and it's ready for clear.

I like the microfiber towels to tack and I use your technique of using your hand to double check and feel cuz I can get that feel like i get with a regular tack rag..So thanks for that tip. Also bought the Walcom HTE 1.3 combat..Sprayed the clear real nice. Waiting for my carbonie SP? clear gun to arrive.

Walcom Slim Kombat is the best kept secret in the automotive refinishing industry! Best results for a FRACTION of the price of mass produced + overpriced Satajets or Iwata and even Devilbis!! P.S.- Spies water blows that PPG envirobase out the water!! 1 coat and DONE w/ a back to back orientation coat that's it!! If you could convince ur shop to switch, it would save you massive amounts of time + stress + also cut materials use by 20% saving the shop $$$$$!!

Always snapping up new stuff to try out from your videos! I’m spraying Glasurit now and the feeling when spraying the clear is ”thick” (din4 18-21s). Im always adding 10-20% extra reducer, but im not getting the glass finish I got from PPG! Keep it up!!

Hello Gabriel, nice to see another great video, always very professional. The Walcom brand is made in ITALY and the ANI brand too. both brands are Italian. because I have some pistols ANI are cheap and work very good too. Is the same company made both brands or is a diferent company.??

That's for real, a 100% decontaminated part makes all the difference and some people tend to let slide dirty or humid interiors, and that gun ow boy, it's way too cheap for it's performance

I just bought this gun with a 1.3 to use for base and clear could I get away with it since you did recommend a 1.2 for clear gonna be spraying European clear which is a tad bit thick greetings from the US

Hi Clear you are using 1.1 or 1.2? Plastic or aluminum body gun? Heard good things about those spray guns. Think I have to try it. You might want to see if manufacture will make a Low CFM cap option. With good atomization. Maybe no VOC restrictions. Been using one for single stage and another low CFM cap set up for small areas. Less overspray and use of material. Think transfer rate is high. It is easier for DIY or if using smaller compressor. Good video. Thank you

How much do you open the width of the cape when you paint with hte clear

Hi Gabe, love your video's but I'm a bit confused, I'm a DIY newbie to spraying and always thought that increasing your distance from the panel will give you more orange peel, I doing ok with primer/sealer and base but struggling to get a good finish on my clear. All I do is single panels with my Devilbiss SRI Pro Lite mini gun 1.2 tip at 33psi but I'm never happy with the finish, I've tried 4 to 8 inches from the panel but when further away the peel gets worse, if I get close the finish is a bit better but then I get runs, I'm pulling my hair out trying to improve my finish, any advice you can give would be appreciated, John UK.

Hey buddy which waterborne cleaner do you use on your tack cloth We use the SX394 I know it’s pretty strong on the base because I keep it in a spray bottle as a first rinse of my guns and it dissolves the base coat quick
