@@vicdiaz5180 I'm on the cusp of 40 but still see my self as early 30s. Most people our age, especially professionals criticize bb guns as toy play. Now that they aren't using kill houses, have to pay for their own ammo and don't want to lose the skill they had developed over an entire career they finally see these "toys" as great training aids.
Airsoft gbbr can easily cost more BUT those Unit rounds are 0,20€ vs quality heavier side airsoft bb costs 0,01€ which is quite huge difference. I have Tokyo marui mws for training and airsoft but for just training there are Vfc and Vipertech that are a little bit closer to the real ar and take more real steel parts.
There have been a lot of questions about how the UNIT4 Training Rifles differ from traditional gas blow back airsoft rifles, so we wanted to address them. Airsoft rifles can be great training tools for sure. There are a couple key differences between the UNIT4 and traditional GBB Airsoft rifles, and the biggest difference is the quality of the materials we use in manufacturing. Our rifles are made from the same real steel materials that firearms manufacturers put into their rifles, so they're made to be durable goods that can withstand rugged training conditions and will continue to deliver at a high level over time. Think of it as a real rifle that’s been retrofit to shoot pneumatically. And because we've started with a real rifle and stripped out as few parts as possible to make it pneumatic, it has better performance in areas like felt recoil, mean time between stoppage and performance in rugged conditions. From a durability standpoint, you can treat the UNIT4 the exact same way you’d treat a real rifle. This goes for the magazines too; for example our magazines have been stress tested to withstand 300 drops onto concrete, unlike traditional airsoft magazines. Another key difference is that our system shoots marking rounds alongside of BBs. Finally, the rifle is made in America which does add cost but we are proud to have it made here. So yes, the price of our rifle is higher than traditional airsoft systems because we built it with the same materials as the real M4 and we made it in America. Please feel free to reach out to us directly for any and all questions!
Anyone under 30 has been training with realistic weight, lenth bb guns rails for your attachments for 15yrs now. Im just happy to see the generations older than 30 starting to train with them.
@@sillygoose5138 It's a CO2 powered bb gun. airsoft had variants of electric, CO2 and spring powered. The difference is who it's being marketed too. So yes, it's a airsoft comment.
I love Mike Glover, I've been a supporter of his for years now, first watching his "What to look for in an AR-15" video some 5 years ago. With that caveat out of the way, this dude is a meathead. I'm sure he's a swell guy, but if you're going to start the video by saying "This training rifle is a more professional grade than your airsoft toys," then proceed to demonstrate that this is EXACTLY like a modern gas blowback airsoft gun, then you immediately lose all credibility. My airsoft guns are all the same size, [close] weight, and setups, as my real steel. I have an ACOG on my 20 inch rifle, so I have an ACOG on my 20 inch airsoft gun. I have an EOTech on my 11.5 inch "pistol," so I have an EOTech on my 11.5 inch airsoft gun. It's not rocket surgery. Modern GBB airsoft guns are all metal, with MLOK, picatinny rails, and all the rest. This dude was super stoked about using his own sling, optic, and a flashlight - yeah, airsoft has had that for years now, all for under $1000 LOL Hell, because the options are so limited, people use Zenitco furniture on their airsoft AKs! So I'm sure this is a quality product, and I'm sure they got some good compensation for showing it off on their channel, if you're going to make a claim about how much better it is than airsoft, you should really know what there is to offer in that realm.
I think the goal of the company is to appeal to the pRoFeSsIoNaLs and LE departments across the nation. They shun a good airsoft idea for decades but when they see it in a shiny new wrapper, being pushed by credible people, they buy. Great marketing for a company that basically piggybacked an already successful product. However, it is getting more training in the hands of people who probably need it, so it is what it is😎
Agree. I'm in Ukraine, going through civilian tactical courses. We have real AR-15 and airsoft AR-15, same shit. Yeah, slight change here or there. The airsoft definitely has more "loose" parts but otherwise I don't see the difference for cqb and movement training.
@kennedyfinancialsolutions Yup. As an instructor myself, I heavily use airsoft in my force-on-force training scenarios. It's an excellent tool. Cheers.
@Metalblowing And that's it, it's great for CQB, and fails at long range stuff. In the Marines, we'd just use blanks for training, so any actual projectile is better than that.
Co2 is the first problem lol 🤦♂--Best thing about it was not even mentioned , that it's an LMT... Other than that why ? To many better airsoft options and paintball milsim option if you need to mark something lol , for this things price and ammo options/parts/mags and availability (rip off) .. Convert to pcp at least...
Have an AEG electric air rifle made by VFC as well worth over $400 very well-made and very realistic. Whenever I can’t hit the range, the VFC air rifle does very well for training
@@unit.solutionsThat is still $0,22 vs heavier side 0,36g quality airsoft bb $0,01. After 1000 rounds: Unit solutions $220 Airsoft $10 And the airsoft example can be done with more common bb weight also which would be 0,28g and those would cost just $0,006 per bb ($20 per 1kg = 3570 bbs).
not quite,. I work in the airsoft industry, own a store and training company on the side. I've worked with companies developing 1500+ airsoft guns for training and currently working with another company building an entry level aeg for sub 200. your $50 acadamy is not the same, not even close. While I personally have a hard time justifying a unit solutions, you literally cannot say it's the same thing as a below entry level airsoft aeg.
$1000 rifle, $100 magazines, $90 for a 30 rounds of ammo! Are you people on crack? None of this so even remotely affordable! A mantis Blackbeard for dryfire and a an airsoft rifle for FoF is a better and cheaper solution by MILES! I wonder how much fieldcraft got paid for this video?
but you can't do force on force with those 2k rounds. Which is arguably way more important then flat range shooting. Is this is the right solution over airsoft for everyone, no. Heck i'm 1000% on the airsoft train. but if you don't see the value of force on force, your out of touch with reality honestly.
@@zacharyrowe8667 I completely agree! You 100% can, I actually own a training company and airsoft store and work in the airsoft industry full time. So yeah you can get an airsoft gun cheaper. Buuut these guys aren't THAT greedy when you really consider it. A good GBBR (let's take a TM MWS) will run you 620 states. and that get's you something pretty good. The unit solutions is made by LMT, which is going to be significantly more durable. The part where things get stupid expensive is the mags, if you could reload them, I could totally see a ton of airsofters getting these just for the durability sake.
"The UNIT4 training rifle is only approved for use by authorized military, law enforcement or private security professionals. Using the UNIT4 system outside of professional use will void your warranty" From their Unit4 Training System Specifications document. I don't know why you keep mentioning "civilians" when your warranty specifically does not cover them. "Accuracy | Nonmarking Rounds - 1 inch at 10m / Marking Rounds - 3 inches at 10m " Also from their specs document, how is this any different than a full metal airsoft rifle?
$66 or $88 for 30 rounds? So ten mags(300 rounds) will cost $660 or $880? Should sell co2 and their shots separately and make them reloadable. Wish them luck.
so this is a t4e marker .43 cal correct. what ammo do you as the manufacturer recommend? the only plastic or will it run all types of t4e balls. I see people use the steel balls but that cant be ideal for longevity of wear parts. I bought an airsoft rifle years ago never having known they were very close to some firearms. I don't play I got it to train and become proficient will safe operation and then some tactical practice. I've since bought a bunch of stuff and am currently shopping for the new umarex Walther PDP compact t4e pistol but I'm not sure if this is overkill for me. does it operate like a marker or is it essentially a co2 blowback air gun. im just trying to get an idea of what this offers that would make it worth a non- law enforcement person to utilize it to irs fullest potential. I'm going to do some research on it this evening. I do know a little about to kwa force on force model. if you get a moment to suggest the best way for me to see this being used for its ideal purpose. if and when you get a moment if you know where I can find the best source to see this in action. appreciate the help much obliged. cheers
ehhh if you want to learn how to fight, you can't get shot with a .223 too many times. airsoft is the best options for civilians to learn how to gunfight.
Is anybody offering the services of "Tactical Tailor"? I imagine some guys would love you to sell the complete system how YOU like it, because you are smarter and im down with running what you approve of. If you made an option to where i could buy a full rifle setup with all accessories installed, body armour and plate setup ready to go, and even apparel options(long sleeve, pants, boots, etc), AND helmet setup... READY FOR SALE ... Id be a buyer.
Hello, I would appreciate the instructions on how to position yourself stable with a full kitted vest while laying down, and how to solve the problem of a vest covering the shoulder/chest (that part between them) but stock placement. Both of them combined are killing my accuracy with rifle by moving freely after the shot fired and not having a firm hold of my tool also spare magazines don't allow my body to be stable on the ground. Thanks for your shared knowledge❤
Knights armaments kac-16 is my training platform for cq. And yes the rifle and mags are "expensive" but is it really compared to buying real ammo? Knowledge transfer on weapon systems are important
LOL my vfc v3 urgi gas blow back airsoft gun has way more recoil, shoots farther and more accurate, has tunable FPS, is cheaper, and runs off propane/green gas. Is 1:1 internally for real steel parts. Unit is such a rip off and is for grown ass babies who still won’t accept airsoft 😂😂😂😂😂 every airsofter I know would smoke most of flat range dudes😂😂😂😂😂
