Best Retirement advice!!! Even if you’re not moving to a new country.

Your advice about retirement is spot on regardless of whether you plan to live in your home country or another country. Retirement is about reinventing yourself over and over again. I like this little apartment. It is an ideal lock and leave place. Clear out the big, bulky furniture, get rid of the paneling, update the flooring and paint, and put in new bathroom and kitchen. This could be really cute.

I totally agree. I hope to teach English as a second language. It would be under Charity conditions. I have prior experience in Australia and found it very rewarding. Cheers from South Australia temporarily.

I think there is a place for a washing machine. U can buy those wash & dry all in one machine. No need for a vent. !!. All you need is a electrical outlet. Dining room area in a built in. Would be perfect. Great small living project. Love love the walk to the apartment. Lots of flowers ❤😊

Great presentation Brad. I particularly liked your 'pause' (word choice?) on the tour proceedings, to talk about 'think about what you want to do when you move here - to make a contribution and not 'go stale'. Your advise was very good. I'm 76 a RN and I still work part time. My husband and I love to travel but have never been to Italy. We are in love with Italy and all the different regions. We are planning to to rent for 90 days in hopes of finding a small ground floor to buy . This apt. fits that very well but just not real sure of the area. We prefer a warmer climate as we live by the gulf of Mexico in Alabama, just 1. 2 miles from the greater Pensacola Fl. Do you have properties to rent?

Dang, so no Kev's world with my wife and two dogs in a pickup truck showing properties? Back to my Italian retirement plans I guess. You're doing a great job with the channel but we have missed seeing Claudia. Glad you are still practicing the metric system. Maybe put a small pop up with the sqft numbers so you can stop saying both. That way the metrically challenged still know what's going on. And by "the" I mean me ;)

Think there was an ATM in town. If not it is within 10 mins max. Where I lived in Texas we needed 10 mins to get to first bank. Joy/Pain of smaller town living.

Who pays cash anyway? I haven't used the few coins/banknotes I have in my wallet since the end of August. I usually pick up some cash from an ATM every 6-8 weeks. But only as a back up solution anyway. I pay everything digitally one way or another. Most European countries are becoming mostly cashless, in some of them business are legally obliged to accept at least 1 form of digital payment
