Code: SPN for 10% off Blacksmith Tactical Holsters. My go to is the v2 holster with double discrete carry clips and a wedge. And if you have under a 3.7” barrel, get a wedge!! Respect
@@spnfirearms what is your go to belt to go with it? I just bought a Phlster Enigma Express but I don’t think it is going to be for me (it won’t work once I put a light on my g27 since there is only one light for the g27), so I’m looking for other good deep concealment options.
Downside to that is that in a shtf situation, 300 blkout will be so hard to find vs Nato ammo. Unless you stockpile a ton of it, you won't be able to refill your stock.
@@jimmywatson468 That's why you have a separate upper in 5.56. Takes 20 seconds or less to swap out. Everything is interchangeable except the actual barrel.
My 2nd AR is a 16” Radical in 223/556 I picked up for $420 delivered to my FFL. Threw a Romeo 5 on it and flip up sights. Need to change the trigger, grip and add a light. Might put a 45 degree safety on it.
@spnfirearms no I'm trying to say that lots of people hate on these short builds, as someone who has a 7.5 as my truck gun, I like your build and see the practicality, where others just go and say "velocity has left the chat" jeez I can't stand YT shorts sounds
For me it just doesn’t feel right. Like you’re taking a cartridge that’s meant to reach out and touch someone and neutering it to perform closer to a handgun round than a rifle. I don’t hate on them, but i personally wouldn’t get a rifle shorter than 16”.
@@kogasoldier9379 the cartridge is neutered but it's still better for the most part. At least in terms of energy At close ranges I believe diameter is the most important part so a 7.62 39 and a 9mm hollow might be better in terms of damage. The 223 has the advantage of stopping in dry wall after 4 layers whole fmj handgun rounds tend to go through 10.
The thought of touching one of these off inside a room or hallway it would put a hole in something and cauterize it at the same time! Sun glasses and Peltor's highly recommended hanging right next to this!
For affordable trigger go with moose tactical. Users mil spec springs. Ends up about a 3.5 to 4 lb trigger with a clean break. Less than half the price of others and super reliable.
I like it, I love my leggo guns, for me leggo simply means it has an M-Lok rail. I do not see them as defensive, but I still love to shoot them. My latest 2 are amazing blasters, I grabbed the CMMG MK10 & MK3 of the Banshee series, that is 10mm & 308 Win. They are a bit obnoxious (esp the 308), but an absolute blast to shoot.👊
Hey SPN, A question. What’s your take on shotties? Are you a fan or do you prefer other long 🔫? I’m trying to see my way to a rifle but I’m a cheap bastard..😕
I know this isn’t a pistol video but I really want to know what you think about the beretta APX A1 Carry I’ve heard you can get them for less then 300 bucks and I think it’s right up your alley
Another excellent budget triggers the LaRue mbt2s WITH a take-up screw grip mod sold separately. The take-up screw removes the first 2.5lbs in the larue
Yessir arp great backpack gun next on my list my backpack rn is nak 9 draco amazing acc and no failures real Ak parts only thing don’t like don’t have last round bolt hold open
Check out 50-62 grain TSX ammo. Very expensive. But has fast burning powder and gives a super short 5.56 like that way more energy. Should make about 800ish pounds of energy vs 550-600 like most 5.56. I have a 7.5 springfeild saint in 5.56 and its a great PDW.
Right now PSAhas a great deal on Armalite AR's$749 for AR with an adjustable gas block, match grade barrel, radian raptor ambi charging handle, ambi safety, Magpul stock and Magpul MBUS sights. i bought the stock Armalite AR without adjustable gas block, but does have chrome lined barrel, but without the extras mentioned above on sale for $549 and its ver nice quality and reliable. much nicer than the PSA I have and close to my the quality of my BCM.
I have a radical 15 in 10.5 inch my only complaint is the stock trigger is sucks so bad, worse than the m4s I used in the army it just seems super sticky and stiff
Nice only thing swap A2 hiders for the slim socket set fwd Kaks on 11-7.5s huge difference 💥😵💫🤣,pistol light at the 12’ tlr1 paddle style best infront of matte painted irons (_*_) layer white color to preference matte sealer like a constant eotech 🎯🧐🤭
Do what you want to do and I’ll do the same. Lmao quit getting so wrapped up in what you want. And that’s bull crap. I could care less about weight because it sits at home. My pistols leave with me. The point is their size.
Hey bro i’m an upcoming Firearms Channels posting daily content. Couple Questions on how you have your account setup or do How many times do you post a day ? Do you upload first through your phone then use a computer? How do you have your setup to record ? Use Phone/Or Camera ? Any pointers for small youtuber trying to create 2A Content ?
I just use my iPhone and an Amazon mic! I would say upload what you are comfortable with. If you are stressing about uploads then you are doing too many. Respect!
Book Of Braces 1:1 Ye shall wield a rifle caliber in the most compact package ensuring maximum firepower. Ye shall not be stingy nor negligent in the discharge of the weapon. Amen 🙏
Like 4 times in the last 6 weeks lmao. This is why I hate doing RU-vid. I can’t stand it anymore. People just talk out of their a****. It’s so sad lmao
@@spnfirearms wow….i didn’t say anything against you or about your video. I only stated facts. I’m friends with current and former SF, Embassy marines and my best buddy is a former DSS Special Agent (google Sec. Kerry playing with soccer ball) and my buddy is one of the agents in the background in Africa. ALL of them have told me that a short-barreled AR in 5.56 is terrible for a home defense AR because of the blast. It’s fact not opinion. Why are you getting so butthurt? If you absolutely hate making videos just stop and save yourself the mental misery especially if a non-critical comment makes you go off a cliff.
All that to not be able to penetrate shit, just poking .22 sized holes in a target with rounds that aren't going to tumble or do much damage which is how 5.56 gains its effectiveness, better off just getting a decent handgun, for $400 the rifles going to be a POS that wont last nearly as long and yoy expect the same for the optics and attachments if you follow the same principle of buying the cheapest available, for all the comments saying they ran thousands of rounds through it , really? You bought the cheapest rifle available but had no problem dumping thousands of dollars minimum in ammo through it....right, sure you did
